our AMAZING adventure {KAISERCRAFT & MERLY IMPRESSIONS}

hello KAISERCRAFT fans!

 today i would like to share my latest creation for the MERLY IMPRESSIONS' blog. this month i've got the absolute pleasure to work with KAISERCRAFT “sail away” collection {available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS' online store}.

"OUR AMAZING ADVENTURE"

 for my background i used KAISERCARD navy weave cardstock and SHIP pattern paper. i cut off 0.5cm from each side of the pattern paper, ruffled its edges with PAPER DISTRESSER and adhered it to the cardstock using KAISERCRAFT 12mm double-sided tape. i doodled the white frame with GELLY ROLL PEN – white.

then i used a masking template and TEXTURE PASTE to create the dimensional pattern. finally, i sprinkled liquid silver ink on top of my background and stamped the half compass from the CLEAR STAMP SET, using ADIRONDACK paint dabber – SILVER.

to create the layers under my picture i used KAISERCARD coconut weave cardstock, SAIL AWAY mini PAPER PAD and KAISERCARD navy weave cardstock . i ruffled the edges of some of the layers with paper distresser and punches the edge in the NAVY cardstock  with edge punch. to adhere the layers together i used MOUNTING FOAM TAPE.

then i start embellishing my page. i used die cuts from the the mini PAPER PAD and the COLLECTABLES pack and stickers from the 12″ STICKER SHEET.

to create the banner at the top right corner i used die cuts from the COLLECTABLES pack and tags from the mini PAPER PAD. i decorated the die cuts with RHINESTONES – dark blue and RHINESTONES – red, and “hanged” my banner on a piece of KAISERCRAFT natural string.

for my title i used a die cut word from the the COLLECTABLES pack and sticker strips from the 12″ STICKER SHEET.

THANK YOU for stopping by today!

have a lovely week, stay warm and keep creating!

believe in fairies {KAISERCRAFT & MERLY IMPRESSIONS}

hello KAISERCRAFT fans,

today i'm sharing my last project for november for MERLY IMPRESSIONS' blog packed with fairies, butterflies, silver decorations and flowers of course. all the papers are from KAISERCRAFT's “FAIRY DUST” collection {available, together with all of the embellishments at MERLY IMPRESSIONS' online store}.

"BELIEVE IN FAIRIES"

for my background i used the SPARKLY pattern paper from the “FAIRY DUST” collection. i sprinkled RANGER liquid silver ink on top of it and then i stamped the small butterfly and the dandelion using the clear stamp set {matching the collection} and ADIRONDACK paint dabber – silver.

to create the layers under my picture i used KAISERCARD coconut weave cardstock and FAIRY DUST mini paper pad. i shaped the edges with MARTHA STEWART "doily lace" edge punch, embossed slightly the punched part and adhered all the layers together using mounting foam tape.

to embellish my picture i used die cuts from the the mini paper pad and the COLLECTABLES pack and stickers from the 12″ STICKER SHEET

i created the flower cluster with different coloured paper blooms {mini paper blooms – COCONUT, paper blooms – AMETHYST and SEA BREEZE}.

for the foliage i used KAISERCRAFT decorative die – BERRY VINE with KAISERCARD coconut weave cardstock and MARIANNE DESIGN dies with pattern paper from the mini paper pad. then i added STICKLES – star dust and RHINESTONES – blue grey to embellish the die cuts.

for my title i used a die cut from the COLLECTABLES pack, which i altered with STICKLES – star dust and a sticker from the 12″ STICKER SHEET for my subtitle.

THANK YOU for stopping by today!

have a lovely creative weekend!

LOVE and FAIRY DUST {KAISERCRAFT & MERLY IMPRESSIONS}

hello crafty peeps,

today i have a really whimsical layout to share with you. as some of you already know, this month i've got the privilege and the absolute pleasure to work with KAISERCRAFT's  “FAIRY DUST” collection {available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS' online store}. honestly, i’m in LOVE with all the fairies and fairy dust flying around my crafty room.

"LOVE and FAIRY DUST"

for my background i used PIXIE pattern paper, which i altered with CHRISTMAS QUARTERS 12×12 stencil {the snowflakes quarter} and TEXTURE PASTE.

after the TEXTURE PASTE has dried, i sprinkled TIM HOLTZ - adirondack alcohol ink - SILVER on top of it.

to create the layers under my picture i used KAISERCARD COCONUT weave cardstock and FAIRY WISHES pattern paper. i separated the fairy carefully from the pattern paper on one side and tucked my framed picture under it. i shaped the layers using a cutting die and adhered them with MOUNTING FOAM TAPE to my background.

i used die cut elements from both the mini PAPER PAD and the COLLECTABLES pack to decorate my page.

i fussy cut some of the fairies and the butterflies from the foil paper from the mini PAPER PAD and from the 12" FLUTTER foil paper. the lilac flowers i fussy cut from the ENCHANTED patter paper. i also used various stickers from the 12″ STICKER sheet.

for my title i used a cut off strip from one of the pattern papers, which I layered on a greenish paper from the mini PAPER PAD.

to finish off my design i added RHINESTONES – silver to the die cut fairy stars.

here is a list with all products available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS' online store:

 THANK YOU for joining me today!

have a lovely time creating!
