ALWAYS live full the life {SA CRAFTERS & 7 DOTS STUDIO}

hello crafty friends!

today is mu turn over at SA CRAFTERS' blog and i would like to share my newest creation + a video tutorial i made using their lovely designs!

"ALWAYS live full the LIFE you have imagined"

my layout was inspired by 7 DOTS STUDIO february challenge "HEARTS"

the challenge was really easy - just use HEARTS on your project! and if you ask me these pictures can carry a lot of hearts!

for my layout i mixed two paper collections from 7 dots studio:

"ALL I EVER"

"HOPEFULLY"

for my background i used the "love and be loved" pattern paper from "all i ever" and "dance with me" pattern paper from "hopefully". i cut out the swirly decoration and tucked the second pattern paper under.

i stamped the background with PRIMA marketing "doily" stamp and used SA CRAFTERS 6x6 arrow stencil to create the dimensional pattern around my pictures.

i used various chippies and wooden embellishments to decorate my layout. some of them i altered with black embossing powder, others with TATTERED ANGELS glimmer glaze "black olive".

the nice foliage is from SA CRAFTERS chipboard set "leaves no.1".

the small hearts are from the wood mini hearts sentiments set.

and of course there are a lot of hearts on my page - paper doilies,  wooden embellishments, stamped images and resin ornaments.

the lovely stickers are from 7 DOTS STUDIO all i ever collection.

the flowers are from PRIMA marketing:

#538934 fiesta flowers coral sea
#301033 e-line flowers pink
#556792 miss godivas blush
#556846 miss godivas marshmallow
#553036 gillian white

 and PETALOO - spring darjeeling colleciton.

for my title i used another chipboard set from SA CRAFTERS - chipboard title sentiment family always.

i stamped the subtitle with KAISERCRAFT "life sentiments" clear stamp.

here is a list with all the SA CRAFTERS products i used on my project:

watercolour effect with GELATOS + GIVEAWAY {faber-castell}

hello GELATOS friends!

happy saturday! today i would like to share my last post for FABER-CASTELL design memory craft with you. i really enjoyed working with their amazing products for the last 4 months! and i really enjoyed working with a team full of professionals and amazing crafters!

also, at the end of this post, i've got a little surprise for you! and i'm sure you will enjoy it!

so, here is my newest project featuring GELATOS -

SO SWEET

this time i though of exploring all the options to add watercolor effect to my layout using gesso, gelatos and water, of course.
to create this project i worked with paper, canvas, chipboard and plastic.

and here is how i did it:

 first i positioned the picture on my background paper {i used 7 dots studio "love is in the air" collection} and marked the place it is going to be with a pencil. then i removed the picture and start adding different colours blending GELATOS with water.

 while my background was drying i die cut different shapes from a plastic sheet. i used TIM HOLTZ' bigz dies "pediments" and SIZZIX bigz die "birds". i covered the die cuts with GESSO.

when they dried, i coloured them with GELATOS, choosing colours to match the paper collection.

after the background paper was dry, i added the butterfly pattern using PRIMA marketing "butterflies" masking template and gesso.

 ... and paint splashes {dissolve a little bit of GELATOS in water and use your brush to create the splashed} and pearls for extra glimmer and glam.

 to decorate my page i used SCRAPMATTS chevron chipboard. i covered it with gesso, to mask the raw colour, and then i added a blue gelato to it.

 for the resist canvas i used water and GELATOS - the different colors blend easily together, which allowed me create the perfect colour combination for my layout.

i hope i managed to inspire you today!

simple pleasures {7 dots studio & PAPERHAUS}

hello scrappy friends!

it's the 1st of the month and it is time for the monthly sketch at the PAPRHAUS magazine:

and here is the awesome sketch designed by the very talented JULES:

this week the PAPERHAUS magazine is featuring 7 dots studio and we - the design team - had the pleasure to work with their amazing products.

for my layout i used the sweet 7 dots studio collection "hopefully" -

and here are some close ups and detailed explanation on how i did it.

i started with white cardstock, which i altered with THE CRAFTER'S WORKSHOP "chevron arrows" template and modeling paste. when the paste was dry i stamped ink spots using BOBUNNY mixed media stamp set.

then i cut a  15 x 29 cm piece of "LOVE ME" pattern paper and used it as a basic layer for my pictures.

the chevron chippies are from SCRAPMATTS. i altered them with brown embossing powder.

to decorate my page further i used another masking template - from DONNA DOWNEY - on the pink pattern paper. i cut the yellow half-circle using HEARTFELT CREATIONS layered scalloped posy die.

the mini roses are from PRIMA marketing and the pearls are from FLOURISH WITH A BLING.

all of the flowers on this layout are from PRIMA marketing. i used DONNA DOWNEY poppies and peonies yellow and other blooms. the title chippie - simple pleasures - is also from SCRAPMATTS - scrapwords 06.

the various words and phrases are from the sticker sheets, matching the 7 dots paper collection.

i hope you enjoyed today's post!
