hello everybody!

today i would like to share one of my most recent layouts i've designed for BOBUNNY using their most adorable CHRISTMAS collection - "CAROUSEL CHRISTMAS".

collection pack - CAROUSEL CHRISTMAS
pattern paper - wishes / CAROUSEL CHRISTMAS
doubled dot paper - SUGAR, VINTAGE
glitter paste - SUGAR
Spray - GOLD
stickable stencil - WINTER FUN
foil transfer - SENTIMENTS gold
medium doilies
tools - palette knife assortment, scissors

TIM HOLTZ embossing ink
TIM HOLTZ paper distresser
MARTHA STEWART doily lace edge punch

and here are some close ups of my project and TIP&TRICKS on how i did it:

use GLITTER PASTE and a stickable stencil to create the shimmering layer on the pattern paper.

using the foil transfer sheets, add cheerful phrases to your project.

TIP! before adhering the fussy cut images, emboss them slightly using a ball stylus and adhere them with mounting foam tape.

add pearls and swirls to decorate your project.

for my title i used a chipboard phrase from DUSTY ATTIC. i covered the chippie with embossing ink and then a layer of STAMPENDOUS! embossing enamel and heat embossed the set.

and here is the step-by-step YOUTUBE tutorial:

i hope you enjoyed today's project!

THANK YOU for stopping by today! and have a lovely week!

BEAUTIFUL & ADORED {merly impressions & kaisercraft}

hello crafty friends!

i know i've neglected my blog the last few months, but what can i say - life happens most unexpectedly and i was busy cooping with it... now everything is back to "normal" - as normal as it can be in a house with two kids, two cats and everything that comes with them - and i promise to share all those projects i've created, but never posted here.

i'm starting with a layout i created for MERLY IMPRESSIONS' blog featuring the amazing SAGE and GRACE collection from KAISERCRAFT {available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS' online store}. the shabby chic images and the lovely colour palette of this collection, makes it perfect for any girly picture you might have.

decorative die - MINI FOLIAGE
clear stamp - HONEYCOMB

MARTHA STEWART - edge punch

and here are more close ups and some TIPS&TRICKS on how did it -

tailor-made BACKGROUND tutorial in a few easy steps:

STEP 1: alter the cardstock using the designer template and KAISERMIST.

TIP! flip the template to create a mirror effect, but don't forget to clean it first!

STEP 2: use corrugated cardboard and pattern paper to design the background layers.

STEP 3: once you know what colour paper you would like to use, distress the white cardstock using distress ink and clear stamps.

STEP 4: shape the borders of the middle pattern paper with an edge punch and smudge GESSO onto the corrugated cardstock.

STEP 5: flick KAISERMIST - different colours - on top of the different layers.

close ups of the ready project:

you can use a combination of die-cut words and stickers to create your title.

use rhinestones and pearls to decorate the die cuts from the COLLECTABLES pack.

THANK YOU for stopping by today!

have a lovely & creative WEEK!
