hello crafty friends!

i've got a FANTASTIC NEWS to share with you today!
it is official - i'm joining CANVAS CORP BRANDS creative crew for the next year and i'll be creating side by side with the most amazing ladies!

to introduce ourselves and to help you get to know us better, each member of the crew created a 4×4 stretched canvas showing our personal style and what we like best.

here is mine -

for mine i choose light clean colours, shimmering silver and a cat! as you can guess i LOVE bright colours, glitter and shimmer and most of all i {HEART} cats!

when my daughter saw this canvas, she liked it so much that she took is for her collection. and this is the best place any art with cats can be!

i used 4 x 4 stretched natural canvas. i sprayed the canvas with different colours GLIMMER MIST: patina and turquoise blue for the sky and sunflower for the sandy ground.

after the canvas has dried i stamped the harlequin frame using brown ink and SAVOR THE MOMENT cling stamp set. then i took the smallest stars from the SHINE cling stamp set, covered them with SILVER high impact metallic paint and stamped them randomly on my background.

then i drew the kitten on a white cardstock using FABER-CASTELL pitt artistic pen black and coloured it with  GLIMMER GLAZE black olive. to create the blue ribbon around his neck i used LIQUID PEARLS.

for the title tile I used mistable paper, which i sprayed with GLIMMER MIST sterling. after the mist has dried, i stamped the word SHINE using the SHINE cling stamp set and SILVER high impact metallic paint. after the paint has dried, i fussy cut the title by hand and inked its edges with black ink.

to die cut  the branches i used TIM HOLTZ' mini branch and leaf set and CCB e-flute craft tiles. once all of my embellishments were cut and dry, i attached them with 3d tape to the canvas.

here is a list with all the different CANVAS CORP products:
we have many great creative plans for 2015 and we hope you will join us by following along on our blog, INSTAGRAM pages and FACEBOOK pages. here are the links for all of the brands, so you can easily follow your favorite brand or all the brands.

cheerful memory {SA CRAFTERS}

hello crafty friends!

today is my turn over at SA CRAFTERS' blog and here what i've created with their amazing products -

for this layout i decided to work with a picture of THEO, taken last summer. he looks so naughty on this photo - just his usual self!

while looking at THEO's picture i thought KAISERCRAFT "close up" collection would be perfect for it, because it is a CLOSE UP of THEO - of his cute little face and of his friendly mischievous character.

for my background i used "DEVELOP" pattern paper, which i altered with stamps and paints.
i used BLACK ink pad and DISTRESS clear stamp to create the extra black pattern on my background. then i added the dimensional white arrow layer using TEXTURE paste and SA CRAFTERS 6 x 6 arrow stencil. after the paste has dried, i splashed TATTERED ANGELS glimmer glam "CELEBRATE" and glimmer glaze "COWBOY" on top of all the layers.

to embellish my layout i used the 6 x 6 paper pad - i fussy cut the film strips and the small cameras from there. the cute paper clip is from SA CRAFTERS - chipboard paper clips. i altered it using VERSAMARK watercolour ink and MIXE'D MEDIA black embossing powder from CLEARSNAP.

for my title i used wood FLAG SENTIMENTS set 2, without altering the piece, and a photo frame from the COLLECTABLES pack.

to create the clock i used SA CRAFTERS chipboard clock set. i used the small sized clock and the inner circle from the set. i coloured the inner circle with i altered it using VERSAMARK watercolour ink and MIXE'D MEDIA black embossing powder from CLEARSNAP.  for the clock chippie i used SPARKLE 'N SPRINKLE sienna star embossing powder. the clock hands are made from wood and covered with black embossing powder {wood clock hands}.

to create the stacks of vintage cameras i used KAISERCRAFT COLLECTABLES pack6 x 6 paper pad, FOCUS patter paper and 12 x 12" sticker sheet.

what i really love about SA CRAFTERS products is that you can create really great embellishments from unexpected left overs. i took the plastic arrows from the 6 x 6 arrow stencil, coloured them with glimmer glaze "COWBOY" and used them to decorate my page.

and here is the video tutorial you can find on my YOUTUBE channel:

i hope you enjoyed today's project!

thank you for visiting my blog!

TRULY, MADLY with XO {merly impressions & kaisercraft}

hello KAISERCRAFT friends!

i can’t believe it is february already… where did january go? time does fly when you are having crafty fun!

this month i have the pleasure to work with the newest and most romantic KAISERCRAFT collection “XO”. the soft colours of this paper line make it perfect for any romantic / lovable picture you might have.

i decided to work with a picture of my kids and their niece from our last photo-session. and i know, "LOVE HURTS" it would be a much more appropriate title :-)

as you can see, i used a lot of KAISERCRAFT stamps on this layout and a lot of different embellishments. and here is how i did it…

i started with KAISERCARD licorice weave cardstock. i stamped its edge with FILM EDGES clear stamps and WHITE ink pad. i left the cardstock to air dry and took the MADLY pattern paper. i cut out 1,5 cm from two sides and ruffled its edges with TIM HOLTZ' paper distresser. then i stamped the corner images using “HUMMINGBIRD” clear stamps set and mini clear stamp “KNOWING YOU” with BLACK ink pad.

then, using TIM HOLTZ’ layering stencil HEARTS and  RANGER INK texture paste, i created the dimensional pattern on my background. after the paste has dried i splattered GLIMMER GLAZE black olive on top of it.

тo create the layers under my picture и used small pattern papers from the 6.5 x 6.5″ paper pad and different punches. i adhered my picture with KAISERCRAFT double-sided tape and embellished it with die cuts from the COLLECTABLES pack. i stamped the phrase "love this", using BLACK ink pad and KAISERCRAFT love this clear stamps from the something blue collection.

… stickers from the 12 x 12″ sticker sheet and rhinestones from kaisercraft RHINESTONE STRIPS – island lagoon. i also added different size pearls CHAMPAGNE colour.

to finish off the composition around my picture i added a few mini paper blooms FAIRY FLOSS.

for my title i used die cut words from the COLLECTABLES pack. to adhere them i used mounting foam tape.

then i stamped the butterflies on a pink pattern paper from the 6.5 x 6.5″ paper pad. i used KAISERCRAFT butterflies clear stamp and BLACK ink pad. i added a stripe with LIQUID PEARLS bisque in the middle and STICKLES glitte glue diamond on the wings.

to finish off my design i added a few love arrows, stamped with BLACK ink pad and XO clear stamp set.

I hope I managed to inspire you today!

have a lovely weekend!

hello scrappy friends!

today i've got a brand new project to share with you! i created this one with KAISERCRAFT “close up” collection

to create my background i trimmed 0.5 cm from each side of the APERTURE patter paper and inked the edges using TIM HOLTZ' mini distress ink pads kit 9 – dried marigold. then using TIM HOLTZ' paper distresser i ruffled the edges of my pattern paper and adhered it to KAISERCARD licorice weave cardstock with KAISERCRAFT 12mm double-sided tape.

to create the black pattern i used KAISERCRAFT clear stamp diamonds with black ink. then i added extra texture using RANGER INK texture paste and TIM HOLTZ' bubble layering stencil

the cute black cameras and the quote i stamped with the "CLOSE UP" clear stamps set matching the paper line and  black ink. then i splashed GLIMMER GLAZE to finish off the design of my background.

i fussy cut the lens quote from the FISH EYE pattern paper and decorated with stickers from the 12″ sticker sheet. i adhered it next to my picture using mounting foam tape.

to create the rest of my embellishments i used fuzzy cut elements from the 6.5″ paper pad…

… fussy cut cameras from the FOCUS pattern paper and die cut shapes from the COLLECTABLES pack

thank you for stopping by today!

have an amazing week!
