INDIGOBLU march challenge "yellow, pink & green"

hello crafty peeps!

today i would like to share with you this month's INDIGOBLU challenge - "YELLOW, PINK and GREEN"! with SPRING (and EASTER) in the air, we thought we'd go for a colour palette befitting for our MARCH challenge, so the theme is "YELLOW, PINK and GREEN".
all we ask is that you use INDIGOBLU stamps in your work.

CHRISTMAS EVE LOVE {kaisercraft & merly impressions}

hello crafty peeps! 

today is my last post for this month over at MERLY IMPRESSIONS' blog and i've prepared another CHRISTMAS layout with a picture from the time when my little munchkins were actually little :-) 

to create my layout i used KAISERCRAFT's  holy night collection, available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS' online store.

"CHRISTMAS EVE LOVE"

for my background i used KAISERCARD cherry weave cardstock, which i altered with a layer of GESSO. after the GESSO has dried i sprayed the cardstock with KAISERMIST spray ink ANTIQUE GOLD and doodled the top and the bottom edge using FABER-CASTELL pitt aristic pen brown.

then i punched the brown edge with hearts using pattern paper from the MINI PAPER PAD and MARTHA STEWART deep edge punch, and decorated it with RED STICKLES. i adhered the lace edge {LACE PACK – CREAM} first and then added the punched edge on top.

then i adhered a 16 cm stripe from the WISE MEN pattern paper with KAISERCRAFT 12mm double-sided tape and covered the edges with red stripes.

for the layers under my picture i used the MINI PAPER PAD and the left overs from the WISE MEN pattern paper. i ruffled their edges with PAPER DISTRESSER.

to decorate my page i used die cuts and fussy cut images from the MINI PAPER PAD and the COLLECTABLES pack, which i altered with STICKLES glitter glue - christmas red and frosted lace…

 …stickers from the 12″ STICKER sheet and fussy cut foil embellishments from the ANGELS FOIL paper.

to finish off my design i added RHINESTONES red and silver.

you are FABULOUS {MERLY IMPRESSIONS & KAISERCRAFT}

hello everybody! 

cou believe that it is APRIL already? and the spring is coming even in HOLLAND! :-) but the best of all is that in this month of flowers, butterflies and blossoming trees, i’ll have the pleasure to work with one of KAISERCRAFT most amazing collections “ALL THAT GLITTERS” available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS. 

 and here is my first layout - 

"YOU ARE FABULOUS"

on the picture is my little angel ELISE after her professional ballet photo shoot. this year was really heavy for her. she needed A+ grades on her state exams and unique performance at the audition for the school she wanted to go to. and she DID it! she got in!

meet the newest student of the ROYAL CONSERVATORY for music and dance in THE HAGUE!
we are so proud with her! she is indeed FABULOUS!

 for my background i used the GLOSS pattern paper, which altered with gesso and the new KAISERMIST spray inks – pink, red and antique gold.

to create the layers under my picture i used glossy golden paper from the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad from the same collection. then i fussy cut pink vertical stripe from a different pattern paper and decorated it with golden zig-zag edges (from CHEVRON glitter paper).

the lovely peonies i fussy cut from CHEVRON and GLOW pattern paper from the same collection. to shape the flowers i used an embossing tool and then i adhered them with mounting foam tape to my project.

the die cut sayings and quotes are from the COLLECTABLES pack and the 12″ sticker sheet. i used mounting foam tape and mounting foam dots to put them in place. 

for the glossy butterflies i used a pattern sheet from the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad and a few die cuts from the COLLECTABLES pack.

to finish off my layout i added rhinestones soft pink.
