MAY KAISERGALLERY

i've got a wonderful NEWS to share!

yesterday was the first installation of KAISERGALLERY! and i was one of the lucky girls to be featured in its very first edition!


this is a fun new addition to KAISERCRAFT's blog where they choose their favorite KAISERCRAFT projects for the month and pop them up on their!

i feel really honoured and very HAPPY!!!

DIE-VERSIONS, JOY CLAIR & DL.ART BLOG HOP

hello blog hoppers!!! 


we here at DIE-VERSIONS have collaborated with two awesome companies: JOY CLAIR STAMPS and DL.ART to come up with a fun and festive CELEBRATIONS blog hop. we want to showcase how well our three companies products work together. DIE-VERSIONS makes very intricate and lovely dies; JOY CLAIR makes high quality clear stamps; and DL.ART makes gorgeous rayon hand dyed crinkle ribbon and also carries bakers twine and other hand crafted seasonal supplies. 

The CELEBRATIONS blog hop will take place on wednesday, may 18th, thursday, may 19th and friday, may 20th. over the three days all design team members will be sharing with you projects they have made for all the many upcoming CELEBATIONS that come around this time of year, ie....weddings, baby showers, baby births, graduations, father's day, and of course birthdays! All design team members will be using supplies from all three companies to make their projects so you can see for yourself how lovely these products work together and how dies, stamps and ribbons are the perfect combination!!

I SOLEMNLY SWEAR {kaisercraft & merly impressions}

hello crafty friends!

today i would like to share my latest creation for the MERLY IMPRESSIONS blog using papers from KAISERCRAFT's SEA BREEZE collection {available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS' online store}.

for the background i used KAISERCARD cardstock - SPEARMINT, REFRESH pattern paper and
POND die-cut paper. before adhering the layers together, i ruffled the edges of the pattern papers with paper distresser. then i sprayed the both papers with KAISERMIST spray ink - WHITE and 
KAISERMIST spray ink - ANTIQUE GOLD.



TIP! stitch a frame around the last layer to frame your design!


use STICKLES - STAR DUST to decorate the die cuts.



TIP! outline the stickers with GELLY roll pen – WHITE to make them pop out of the page.

use pre-cut shapes from the
COLLECTABLES pack and fussy cut shells from the SEA SHELLS gloss paper from the COASTAL ESCAPE collection.




for the journalling spot i used a journalling card from the WHIRLPOOL pattern paper and KAISERCOLOUR pen set {AQUA, SAPPHIRE glitter and COPPER glitter}. the little mischievous munchkin on the pictures wrote the journalling himself – that’s how easy is to use the KAISERCOLOUR pens – even a 6 year old can do it!

today i have a brand new layout to share with you as part of my MAY design team work for MERLY IMPRESSIONS using papers from KAISERCRAFT's SEA BREEZE collection {available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS' online store}.

close ups of my project with a few TIPS & TRICKS:
 

ruffle the edges of SEA pattern paper using paper distresser.


TIP! before adhering the two layers together, use brown thread to create half-frame around your design! 


sprinkle both layers with KAISERMIST WHITE, TURQUOISE and  ANTIQUE GOLD.

TIP! before stamping the swirly edges, mark the place of your picture on the pattern paper with a pencil.


use die cuts from the COLLECTABLES pack, stickers from the 12" STICKERS sheet and PAPER BLOOMS to decorate your project.




TIP! before adhering the die cut BERRY VINES and the MINI PAPER BLOOMS spray them with ANTIQUE GOLD mist. leave them to air dry.


TIP! to achieve visual depth ink the edges of the die cut with INK pad - BARK.


as a final touch add various colours rhinestones!
