riding my bike {DT work for heartfelt creations}

hello scrappy friends!

it's been a hectic week here in holland... i had many glorious plans, but i couldn't manage even 10% of them... note for the future - don't plan ahead, you never know what tomorrow has in store for you!

anyway... it's wednesday again and i've got a new HEARTFELT CREATIONS project filled with HC's amazing stamps and dies:

"riding my bike"

HCPC 3480 Brookside Manor PreCut Set
HCPC 3477 Bird Haven PreCut Set
HCPC 3318 Daisy Patch Flowers PreCut Set
HCPC 3303 Posy Patch Flowers PreCut Set
HCPC 3323 Large Elegant Word Background PreCut Set
HCD 723 Garden Romance Die
HCD 703 Daisy Patch Die
HCD 701 Posy Patch Die
HCD 713 Decorative Lace Border Die
HCD 714 Decorative Layered Basket Die
HCD 720 Western Broncos Die

i started with a white cardstock. i distressed the edges with tim holtz “TEA DYE” distress ink pad. then i used the CRAFTER'S WORKSHOP "birds of a feather" mask to create the pattern. the rest of the cardstock i coloured with "broken china” distress ink. i used HC large elegant word background set to create the pattern in the middle of my page and stitched the cardstock to the pattern paper/

then i cut two lace borders with HC decorative lace border die and place them under your pictures. i glued another piece on top of the pictures.

using the HC garden romance die i cut the garden fences and placed them next to my pictures. in order to get different length fences i cut one of them in two and glued the parts together.

for the foliage i used two shades of green cardstock and HC decorative layered basket die & HC western broncos die. i arranged them on the masked branches and around the pictures. the bird houses are from HC bird haven set and the small birds with HC brookside manor set then i cut all the elements out with the HC garden romance die.

using HC daisy patch flowers set, HC posy patch flowers set and HC daisy patch die, HC posy patch die i created the all flowers for my page. i added a rhinestone in the center of each blossom using flourish with a bling adhesive rhinestones 100 pack silver.

to finish off my layout i added small pearls using RANGER liquid pearls “baby blue” and “ivy green”.

this week you can find sneak peek projects on HC blog of the new product line that they will be launching at CHA. leave a comment with your guess of what you think this new product line is under original blog post:) the new collection will be available for purchase online on july 18th....which is exactly two weeks from today!

have FUN and a lot of SCRAPPY time!

hugs 'n smiles,

Hi, Emmy - thought I would pop by to check out your blog. Did you cut around the wheel of the trike, in the pic on the left, and overlap it onto the pic on the right? Clever! LOVE this LO. I scrapbook for a lady who is an amputee and would love to do something similar to this page for her next album page. Would you mind if I use this LO for a guide? Hugs, Fran
