hello scrappy friends!
happy wednesday to you all! and happy HEARTFELT CREATIONS reveal!
this week i used the amazing ornamental light collection for my project -
"holiday season"
HEARTFELT CREATIONS products used on this project:
HCPC 3486 organic fillers precut set
HCPC 3493 yuletide sentiments precut set
HCPC 3433 book frame 1 precut set
HCPC 3335 elegant snowflake medallions precut set
HCPC 3473 tattered background precut set
HCPC 3415 petite poinsettia precut set
HCD 724 classic editions die
HCDP1 225 frosty blanket paper collection
layered poinsettia shapeabilities
holiday tags shapeabilites
VersaMark “Watermark “ Stamp pad; Ranger Embossing Powder “Gold” and “Silver”; Ranger Acrylic Paint Dabbers “Snow Cap”, Tim Holtz Distress Markers set; Stickles “Christmas Red” Glitter Glue.
i covered a blue core'dinations cardstock with gesso. then i began stamping - i used HC elegant snowflake medallions set and TIM HOLTZ “weathered wood” ink pad for the large snowflake patterns; the HC tattered background set with “fired brick” ink pad to create harlequin design. when everything was dry i drew white circles and dots with RANGER acrylic paint dabber "snow cap". to finish off my tailor made background paper i stamped the note sheet from HC book frame 1 set in the middle of the cardstock.
for my CHRISTMAS TREE i used stripes from different pattern papers {HC frosty blanket paper collection paper pad}. then i cut the ornaments from gold color cardstock and shaped my pictures ti fit inside the frames. i used pictures from our christmas tree decoration from CHRISTMAS 2009 - when my little baby boy THEO was born.
at the top i placed a picture of SWAROVSKI christmas star 2009 ornament. i used pictures from different christmas decorations to embellish my tree.
i stamped the poinsettias and the leaves {HC petite poinsettia set} with watermark ink on pattern paper and added silver and gold embossing powder. then i cut the flowers with the layered poinsettia shapeabilities die and layered the poinsettias and the leaves as pictured.
the branch with berries i stamped with HC organic fillers set and die cut with HC classic editions die. i color the images with TIM HOLTZ vintage photo distress marker and adhere them around the poinsettias. i added stickles christmas red glitter glue to the berries.
for the title i used a sentiment from HC yuletide sentiments set. i stamped it line by line in order to have enough paper around the different lines to create the banners.
i hope you enjoyed my post!
have an AMAZING mid-week!
hugs 'n smiles,
Emmy
