hello crafty friends!
thanks to all of you who played with us at the last color combo challenge #237! your entries are FANTASTIC!
today i've got a brand new palette and a layout to share with you! this week's colour combo is green - peach - orange - salmon - soft black and here is what i have done with it:
"MY TINY LITTLE PRINCESS"
to complete my layout i used all five colours from the colour palette. my creative boost came from inspiration photo #2 - focus on patterns: dots or stripes - i used a dotted mask to create my background and i used a lot of washi tape stripes to embellish it. other inspiration: i got the idea for the handwritten date from the chalkboard message on inspiration photo #1; from inspiration photo #3: i took the idea for the clustered flowers and the large orange ones and from inspiration photo #4 i loved the jewels - idea: charm accents.
to create my background i used DONNA DOWNEY mask, PANPASTELS and washi tape.
for some of my embellishments i used PRIMA resist canvas, which i coloured with TIM HOLTZ distress ink. i used also FWAB adhesive pearls 100 pack olive green.
to match the colours from the colour palette i used two paper lines from PRIMA marketing - "almanac" and "fairy belle". i embellished the fussy cut elements with RANGER liquid pearls.
the gorgeous butterflies are from PRIMA marketing as well - "fabric butterfly topaz" and a resist canvas one.
the large "vintage camera" die from TIM HOLTZ is one of my favourite SIZZIX dies. you can use it in so many different ways!
the rhinestones are from FWAB adhesive rhinestones 100 pack silver. i coloured them with COPIC CIAO green markers.

all the flowers are from PRIMA marketing - old and new - they all go perfectly together!
for my layout i used PRIMA aria collection orange, pankita rose collection spring mix and gillian collection cider. the green leaves are from FWAB jack vine olive green. the rest of the foliage i cut with different dies from marianne design.
