enjoy yourself {scrapbook challenges}

hello scrappy friends!

i've got a new project to share with you today and this one is based on the latest sketch from SCRAPBOOK CHALLENGES -

- ENJOY YOURSELF -

and here is sketch #348:

and here are some close ups from my project:

this time i decided to use pattern paper for my background - not my usual style and therefore extra challenging for me. i added dimensional flowers with FABER-CASTELL design memory craft GESSO {i added a few layers with my palette knife} and DONNA DOWNEY "poppies and peonies - mix 5" mask. i coloured the flowers with FABER-CASTELL design memory craft Art GRIP® Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils - yelloe and smudged the colour a bit with my fingers.

the chippie is from a bulgarian manufacturer. i covered it with TIM HOLTZ "mustard seed" crackle paint and added two green rhinestones from BO BUNNY surprise collection bling.

the FAMILY chippie is from PRIMA "fairy belle collection" chipboard stickers.

i used SIZZIX "regal edging" strip die and some lace to decorate my page. for the blue birds i used THE CRAFTER'S WORKSHOP "mini flying geese" template and FABER-CASTELL design memory craft Art GRIP® Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils - blue

i fussy cut the circles by hand using the pattern on one of the collection papers as template. i inked the edges with FABER-CASTELL design memory craft Stamper's Big Brush - brown. i doodled the faux stitches with  FABER-CASTELL design memory craft Journaling PITT® Artist Pens

most of the butterflies i fussy cut from the pattern paper. for the background i used also KAISERCRAFT texture clear stamp with Stamper's Big Brush

here is a list with some of the products i used on this page:

i hope you enjoyed today's post!

come back soon as i have a little surprise for you! :-)

hugs 'n smiles,
Emmy
