my blue car {sparkle n sprinkle}

hello sparkly friends!

i've got a brand new layout featuring the Sparkle N Sprinkle Stamp Set 285 "1900 CARS" to share with you today.

when i saw this stamp set i knew i've got the perfect picture for it -

"MY BLUE CAR"

little baby THEO looks so cute with his blue pj's, isn't he? :-)

to create this layout i started with a blue cardstock, modeling paste and PRIMA marketing "stars" masking template. after i applied the modeling paste onto my template, i sprinkled G1012 bronze splendor on the stars. i rubbed it in the modeling paste to adhere it to my design.

when the modeling paste was dry i stamped the tire marks on the cardstock and covered them with embossing powder {EP409 winter white}.

then i added some gesso and stamped the tire marks with memento ink "rich cocoa".

for the cool vintage car i used EP369 fiery brown embossing powder. i colored them with CRETACOLOR aqua monolith pencils. i cut the rosette flowers with TIM HOLTZ "mini rosettes" die.

the letters for my title i die cut with SIZZIX alphabet dies. i used cardstock, which i covered with EP266 antiquities embossing powder.

i hope you enjoyed today's post!

have a lovely day!

hugs 'n smiles,

Hi, Emmy! Wonderful photo and LO! My favorite part is the last photo with those darling little eyes peeking at your visitors! Great idea to combine the "antique classics" with a newborn - just love your soft colors. hugs, de

There is no better color combo then blue and brown. It's beautiful on any project but it looks even more wonderful on this one. This layout is stunning. Love all the details on the background and pretty embellishments. Amazing work, Emmy!
