a day without laughter {kaisercraft}

hello scrappy friends!

recently a friend of mine asked me to create a layout for her baby girl 3rd birthday and here is what i came up with - 

"A DAY WITHOUT LAUGHTER"

my inspiration came from KAISERCRAFT november sketch challenge #3:

i started with a black cardstock and a white gel pen. after i finished my frame, i added dimensional pattern using PRIMA marketing mask and modeling paste. then i splashed red paint and added white pearls.

to create my layout i used the "CURIOSITY" collection from KAISERCRAFT.

to embellish my layout i used fussy cut elements from pattern papers, die cut flourishes {MARIANNE design} , paper roses and cardstock images from the COLLECTABLES pack. the white doilies are die cut with CHEERY LYNN "celtic fire doily" die.

for the journalling strips i used the clear stamps from the same collection.

for the butterflies i used MARTHA STEWART monarch butterfly punches.
