hello crafty friends!
today is my turn over at SA CRAFTERS' blog and here what i've created with their amazing products -
"CHEERFUL MEMORY"
for this layout i decided to work with a picture of THEO, taken last summer. he looks so naughty on this photo - just his usual self!
while looking at THEO's picture i thought KAISERCRAFT "close up" collection would be perfect for it, because it is a CLOSE UP of THEO - of his cute little face and of his friendly mischievous character.
for my background i used "DEVELOP" pattern paper, which i altered with stamps and paints.
i used BLACK ink pad and DISTRESS clear stamp to create the extra black pattern on my background. then i added the dimensional white arrow layer using TEXTURE paste and SA CRAFTERS 6 x 6 arrow stencil. after the paste has dried, i splashed TATTERED ANGELS glimmer glam "CELEBRATE" and glimmer glaze "COWBOY" on top of all the layers.
to embellish my layout i used the 6 x 6 paper pad - i fussy cut the film strips and the small cameras from there. the cute paper clip is from SA CRAFTERS - chipboard paper clips. i altered it using VERSAMARK watercolour ink and MIXE'D MEDIA black embossing powder from CLEARSNAP.
for my title i used wood FLAG SENTIMENTS set 2, without altering the piece, and a photo frame from the COLLECTABLES pack.
to create the clock i used SA CRAFTERS chipboard clock set. i used the small sized clock and the inner circle from the set. i coloured the inner circle with i altered it using VERSAMARK watercolour ink and MIXE'D MEDIA black embossing powder from CLEARSNAP. for the clock chippie i used SPARKLE 'N SPRINKLE sienna star embossing powder. the clock hands are made from wood and covered with black embossing powder {wood clock hands}.
to create the stacks of vintage cameras i used KAISERCRAFT COLLECTABLES pack, 6 x 6 paper pad, FOCUS patter paper and 12 x 12" sticker sheet.
what i really love about SA CRAFTERS products is that you can create really great embellishments from unexpected left overs. i took the plastic arrows from the 6 x 6 arrow stencil, coloured them with glimmer glaze "COWBOY" and used them to decorate my page.
