hello crafty peeps!
today is my turn over at MERLY IMPRESSIONS' blog. as you know this month i have the pleasure to work with KAISERCRAFT's FLY FREE collection {available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS online store}. and i can’t get enough of it! the colours are simply amazing and the butterflies and the birds are to die for!
here is what i’ve prepared for you today:
“YOU MAKE ME SMILE”
to create the base for my card i used KAISERCARD coconut weave cardstock – 15 x 21 cm, which i folded in two. i used the mini PAPER PAD and SISTER pattern paper to create the colourful layers.
i fussy cut the white printed rectangle from the SISTER pattern paper and used TIM HOLTZ picked raspberry distress ink to ink its edges. to distress it even further i used KAISERMIST ink sprays – PINK, RED and ANTIQUE GOLD. then i adhered it to a slightly larger rectangle made of KAISERCARD coffee bean weave cardstock using double sided tape.
for the flowers, the birds and the butterflies i used fussy cut elements from the mini PAPER PAD and die cuts from the COLLECTABLES pack. i embossed the different elements and adhered them with MOUNTING foam tape to my card.

“YOU MAKE LIFE BEAUTIFUL”
for the base of this card i used KAISERCARD coconut weave cardstock – 15 x 21 cm, which i folded in two. i used TIM HOLTZ picked raspberry distress ink to ink its edges. then i added a layer of KAISERCARD coffee bean weave cardstock and a pink pattern layer {from the mini PAPER PAD}. to adhere all the layers i used double sided tape and MOUNTING foam tape.
for my sentiment and the large butterflies i used die cut images from the COLLECTABLES pack.
to finish off my design i added a few paper flowers – PAPER BLOOMS hot pink and mini PAPER BLOOMS – coconut and white lace.
i hope i managed to inspire you today!
keep crafting!
hugs 'n smiles,
