PEACE, HOPE, LOVE {kaisercraft & merly impressions}

hello KAISERCRAFT fans! 

it’s SEPTEMBER already and it is finally time for me to finish those last year(s) HOLIDAY pictures. every year we take a lot of pictures in front of the Christmas tree - the family, only the kids, with presents, with cats… you get the idea :-) and every year i promise myself that this year it will be different… that i’ll sort the CHRISTMAS pictures by january and finish the album by february… 

well, it is september already and i just finished my first CHRISTMAS layout with one of my favourite pictures from last year. to create my layout i used KAISERCRAFT’s holy night collection, available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS online store.

"PEACE, LOVE, HOPE"

i got inspired by KAISERCRAFT's september mood board:

for my background i used KAISERCARD vanilla weave cardstock. i stamped a frame along the edge with a pattern stripe clear stamp from the BLUBELLE stamp set and KAISERCRAFT ink pad VINTAGE.
then i took BABY JESUS pattern paper, cut off 1 cm stripes from two of its sides, ruffles its edges with TIM HOLTZ paper distresser and, after rolling one of the corners, adhered it to the cardstock with KAISERCRAFT 12mm double-sided tape.

to cover the cardstock in the corner, i tucked a sticker from the 12″ sticker sheet under the pattern paper. then i sprayed the background with KAISERMIST spray ink – ANTIQUE GOLD.
after the ink has dried, i added a dimensional pattern with a mask from KAISERCRAFT damask quarters 12×12 stencil and RANGER texture paste.

 to decorate my picture i used die cut elements from the MINI PAPER PAD and the COLLECTABLES pack.

 for the title i used a quote from FAITH patter paper.

                   
 all the foil embellishments are fussy cut from ANGELS foil paper. to decorate them further i used rhinestones red…
