MADE with LOVE {kaisercraft & merly impressions}

hello crafty peeps! 

today i would like to share a very special project with you! this month i've got the absolute pleasure to be able to create with the most amazing KAISERCRAFT christmas collection – SILVER BELLS {available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS online store, as well as all the other products used on this project}. 

the soft colour palette, the pink and the blue, the glittery balls… oh… you can almost feel the MAGIC of CHRISTMAS just by looking at this paper line! 

and here is my first layout for OCTOBER - 

"MADE with LOVE"

for my background i used KAISERCARD coconut weave cardstock and CAROL pattern paper. i cut off about 0.5 cm from each side of the pattern paper, ruffled its edges using TIM HOLTZ paper distresser, rolled up one of the corners and adhered it to the COCONUT cardstock using KAISERCRAFT 12mm double-sided tape.

to create the dimensional layer on top of the pattern paper, i used CHRISTMAS QUARTERS 12×12" stencil – the snowflakes quarter and RANGER texture paste. after the paste has dried i sprayed KAISERMIST spray ink – TURQUOISE on top of all the layers.

 i covered the white corner under the rolled up patter paper with die cut circle from the COLLECTABLES pack and a die cut from the mini PAPER PAD.

for the layers under my picture I used COCONUT cardstock for the first one and different patter papers from the mini PAPER PAD. i adhered the different layers with MOUNTING foam tape.

the word JOY on my picture i cut out from a clear sticker from the clear sticker sheet – SEASONS GREETINGS.

 for my title and subtitles i used a paper strip with a clear sticker from the clear sticker sheet – SEASONS GREETINGS, a sticker saying from the 12″ sticker sheet {i distressed its edges with mini distress ink pad – BLACK SOOT}, a die cut from the COLLECTABLES pack and another sticker from the 12″ sticker sheet.

 i fussy cut a few more of the dark blue foil baubles from the FOIL BAUBLES pattern paper and from the paper with the same pattern from the mini PAPER PAD. I embossed them slightly and adhered them with MOUNTING foam tape. to “hang” the baubles i used rhinestone strips – ICE. 

i die cut the snowflakes using COCONUT weave cardstock and decorative die – SNOWFLAKE. 

to finish off the design i added rhinestones – SILVER to my layout and adhered all the elements together.
