FAMILY love {MERLY IMPRESSIONS & KAISERCRAFT}

hello crafty peeps!

don't you just love the SPRING! it is sunny and warm in HOLLAND and i'm feeling so HAPPY! 

and of course, having the opportunity to create with the most amazing KAISERCRAFT collection helps a lot! ;-)

this month i have the privilege to work with KAISERCRAFT’s STORY BOOK collection {available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS online store}. i love the vintage look-and-feel of this paper line, but most of all i love the book covers and all the books hidden in the design papers. it is the perfect paper line for a book worm like me!

i'm also changing the layout of my posts - still trying to improve them and make them more understandable and easy to follow, so let me know what you think!

CLOSE UPS of my project with few TIPS & TRICKS:

ruffle the edges of the BORROW pattern paper and layer it on top of VANILLA cardstock. use TIM HOLTZ stencil and TEA DYE ink pad to create the alphabet pattern and spray with KAISERMIST spray ink – ANTIQUE GOLD on top.

separate the large book cover from the BOOK COVERS foil paper and carefully remove the inner oval. arrange the foil paper stripes under the picture, mixing them with CREAM LACE stripes. sprinkle WHITE and AQUA spray ink on top.

TIP! remove the white edge from the die cuts from the COLLECTABLES pack to have the focus on the image and match the colour of your project better! 

use die cuts from the COLLECTABLES pack and stickers from the 12″ STICKER sheet as decoration for your project. 

alter the wooden heart using gold embossing powder.

 TIP! separate the letters from the die cut words from and use them as title. adhere them with MOUNTING FOAM tape.

add CHOCOLATE and GOLD pearls as a final touch.
