all you need is...

hello lovely friends!

this is my first layout of me and my ROBERT:-) i was so busy with my kids, that i hardly noticed our pictures... but this one is one of my personal favourites. it was taken on our 1st wedding anniversary party (already 7 years ago:-).

for this project i used BO BUNNY persuasion collection, some PRIMA marketing flower leaves and of course MARTHA STEWARD big heart punch. i did stitching, stamping, glittering and every other possible thing to make this page look special and full with love (as we are:-)!

i used two little birdies for my flower centers:

i added glitter to MS hearts - they look so lovely:

and some more glittery hearts;

thanks for stopping by!

have a scrappy day!

Pink vs. Blue

hello scrappy friends!

when i found out that my second child will be a boy, i started preparing a boyish room - everything in blue, jumping sheep, racing cars, etc.:-) of course i had to buy a completely new wardrobe for him, since he couldn't use the left overs from his sister. and when everything was finally ready... i just had to make these pictures!!! :-)

ELISE (my little girl) is the girlish girl ever. for her things are pink or they are not worth buying.  THEO - he is 9 months old and he doesn't really have an opinion (i can still buy his clothes without getting into trouble;-) and this is how i got the idea for this layout - pink vs. blue, girl vs. boy, sugar & spice vs. snips & snails:-)

i started with a white BAZZIL cardstock. i stamped the first border, stitched the second one, stamped the background and then i added the pictures and the embellishments.

i used DCWV nana's nursery paper line and die cuts:

the baby clothes i stamped and then coloured with copic ciao markers.

i hope you've enjoyed this post.

thank you for looking!

i love you deerly

hello scrappy friends!

finally i started on baby THEO's pictures. he is already 8 months old and this is the first layout i'm doing for him.

i used the amazing rita shimniok's sketch from BO BUNNY june sketch challenge.

when I bought this outfit for THEO i instantly knew the perfect paper line for his pictures - he is indeed a sweet little LOVE BANDIT! the adorable fawns, the little birdies and the other forest darlings captured me:-)

so, here is my take on this wonderful sketch with some close ups:

Cleaning up my closet

hello bloggers!

the last few days i’ve been cleaning/organising my crafty space... time consuming, but a very pleasant process... i still have a few boxes to go, but when i’m finally done i’ll post some pictures of my personal heaven on earth!

i just wanted to share my ‘vintage’ findings with you (not that they are really vintage, but i bought them such a long time ago).

1. fiskars shape templates – great for cards, small projects or even 30 x 30 pages. they’ve been really useful to me through the years.

2. bazzill Basics - "in stich'z collection" - stitching templates – great addition to every project!! easy to use with a broad range of beautiful designs.

3. ek success - fastenater decorative staple bars – they are perfect when it comes to attaching papers together, use as extra embellishments or even just to have them.

i hope that you’ll share with me what your long forgotten, but still treasured, findings are!!

have a nice weekend!!!

MME Blog Challenge #11: Anything Goes

hello bloggers!

finally, i've decided to try one of the fabulous mme blog challenges. it is exciting and very new to me!

the rules are simple:

  • you have to follow the monthly sketch
  • you have to use any my mind eye's products (current or past) you'd like as long as your project has at least 80% my mind eye's products
  • you have to finish you project before the given deadline - may 20, 2010, midnight, MST.

here is my take on the sketch:

on the photos - my two little darlings - Theo and Elise in front of Elise's school.

and here is this month sketch:

the background paper is from basic grey "bittersweet" paper line. the pattern papers are from my mind eye's "quite contrary" collection - little miss muffet and little boy blue. i've added some Prima flowers and  ribbons. the title reads: "WONDERFUL memories to last a lifetime..."

thank you for stopping by! i truly appreciate every visit!

Prima & Elise

hello bloggers!:-)

i've just finished one of my first Prima Marketing layouts. on the picture - my little girl Elise playing with a really big umbrella:-) i took this picture about 4 year ago and when i saw the new Prima paper line "umbrella", i knew that it will fit my photo perfectly.

here is the result:

the title reads "under my umbrella life is... sweet".

i've used almost every paper from the "umbrella" collection - i've cut my embellishments from it - the rain drops, the cute animals and the little clouds. i used Martha Stewart's punch around the page set to create the die cut paper.

Elise's favourite colour is pink and that's why the rain drops falling on her umbrella are also pink and glittery:-)

I hope you enjoyed my post!
