hello crafty friends!

it's the second wednesday of the month and as promised we've got a new surprise for you! this week the surprise is double, because HEARTFELT CREATIONS is presenting a completely new collection and it is made especially for boys!

we are pleased to debut the MY GUY COLLECTION. this is a set for your best buckaroo. this collection comes with a lively farmstead, frolicking horses, and sentimental sayings in fonts that have as much attitude as your special man does. with a western flare of attitude, this set also contains cowboy hats and boots, and a variety of landscape stamps to create that perfect scenic creation you have been dreaming of.

the front part instructions - cut a rectangular piece of brown cardstock {12 x 17 cm} and glue it to the card base. cut another piece {11 x 16 cm} from creme cardstock, round its corners and distress it with tim holtz’ tea dye and vintage photo distress ink. stamp the image from HC western collage set two time – on the card and on a separate piece of cardstock. colour the hat from the second image, cut it out and adhere it with 3d tape to the card. stamp the sentiment in the middle and the two horse shoes.

for the scenery use HC birch tree set, HC scenery builders set and tim holtz' brown distress ink. colour around the stamped images with light blue marker / pencil. the bottom half – stamp the horse shoe from HC western bronco set along the sides and the HAPPY BIRTHDAY sentiment from HC western sentiments set in the middle.

to create the pop up effect - on a separate piece of cardstock stamp the two horse images from HC western bronco set and the tree image from HC birch tree set. colour them and cut them out using HC western broncos die and a die cutting machine. make two cuts to the background of the card {about 9 cm long, on top of the tree image} and bend the card inwards so that it forms a small stand inside the card. glue the coloured tree image on it so when the card is open the image will pop up.

the horses – make the stands from a separate piece of cardstock and glue them to the background.Stamp the grass and the flowers, colour them and cut the images with a white base under. fold and glue them, and your card is complete!

I just noticed I said one card. I'm sorry I did notice there is more than one. And quite frankly I love them all!

Hey Emmy I just think your pop up card is so creative and clever. Both your cards are done to perfection in a masculine way. Just awesome.
