hello sparkly friends!
it is a lovely saturday here in HOLLAND and i decided to begin decorating for CHRISTMAS! the first little snowflakes and sparkly balls are hanging!
and since it was my turn yesterday at SPARKLES N SPRINKLES blog, i decided to create a CHRISTMAS layout - for CHRISTMAS past when my little elf was still a baby -
"CHRISTMAS JOY"
for my background i used creme cardstock, masking templates and various mediums to give it color and dimension.
i started with a 12" masking template from PRIMA marketing and a bottle of red GLIMMER MIST. after the paint has dried, i used THE CRAFTER'S WORKSHOP bricks template with white modelling paste to create the brick pattern.
i covered some of the the stars with glue using the sakura glue pen and sprinkled gypsy red velvet glitter [GM2005] on top.
to create my embellishments i used different colour embossing powders - skylight [EP212], gold detail [EP168], mediterranean star [EP429], red apple [EP276], glitter - gypsy red velvet glitter [GM2005] and stamp sets #386 "christmas in words" and #418 nesties ornaments.

to finish off my background i stamped some swirls and snowflakes using memento ink "rich cocoa" and stamp set #386 "christmas in words" and #516 flourishes 1. i also added rhinestones and paint splashes.
