hello kaisercraft fans!
it is a new month and a new collection for me to play with from the amazing MERLY IMPRESSIONS store!
this month i have the pleasure to work with KAISERCRAFT most artsy collection 2 cool 4 school - crayons, pencils, paints... you can find everything in the COLLECTABLES pack!
and here is my first project with this collection-
"YOU COLOUR MY WORLD"
for my background i used ART patterned paper. i adder a layer of RANGER INK multi-medium gesso in the middle and after it has dried, i added the hearts pattern using TIM HOLTZ hearts layering stencil and RANGER INK texture paste. then i coloured the already dried hearts in the colours of the rainbow using TINK HOLTZ distress ink pads (from right to left) – fired brick, dried marigold, squeezed lemonade, shabby shutters, tumbled glass, chipped sapphire, milled lavender.
i added some of the dark pink hearts from the epoxy stickers CANDY set to continue my heart pattern outside the “wooden frame”.
for the layers under my pictures i used TECHNOLOGY patterned paper and captured moments 6×4 cards school days matching the 2 cool 4 school collection. i adhered the different layers with mounting foam tape and KAISERCRAFT 6mm double-sided tape.
for my title i fussy cut the large blue pencil from the MATHEMATICS pattern paper and using KAISERCRAFT mini alpha stickers – black and white i wrote my title. i adhered the pencil using KAISERCRAFT mounting foam dots.
for my subtitle i used the same mini alpha stickers, which arranged on top of two fussy cut banners from printed tape ornate.
the flowers are from KAISERCRAFT as well – mini paper blooms SEA BREEZE and AMETHYST.
i added also a few of the cardstock die cuts from the COLLECTABLES package.
the large pencil rainbow is made of fussy cut pencil shapes from the ENGLISH patterned paper. to finish my design i added different colours rhinestones and pearls, next to the same coloured pencils. i used KAISERCRAT rhinestones ORANGE, LILAC, SPLIT PEA and DARK BLUE, and HOT PINK pearls.
i hope i managed to inspire you today!
have a creative week!
hugs 'n smiles,
