HEARTFELT CREATIONS alumni designers OCTOBER blog hop

hello HEARTFELT CREATIONS friends!

and WELCOME to the HEARTFELT CREATIONS alumni designers OCTOBER blog hop!

as CHRISTMAS is approaching fast all i can think of is poinsettias, CHRISTMAS trees and presents! and of course what is better than a hand-made card full with sparkles and glitter!!!

today's inspiration from me is created with my favourite HEARTFELT CREATIONS christmas releases - SPARKLING POINSETTIA collection -

HEARTFELT CREATIONS products used:
HCPC3323 large elegant word background cling stamp set
HCPC3681 sparkling poinsettia candle cling stamp set
HCPC3682 sparkling poinsettia swirl cling stamp set
HCPC3680 sparkling poinsettia cling stamp set
HCD1-766 sparkling poinsettia die
HCST1-401 deluxe flower shaping kit
double dots 100pc. -3D foam squares

for my background i used white cardstock, which i stamped with HCPC3323 large elegant word background cling stamp set and embossing ink. then i heat embossed the image with gold embossing powder and coloured the cardstock with a mix of TIM HOLTZ distress ink TEA DYE and OLD PAPER.

i stamped the candle {HCPC3681 sparkling poinsettia candle cling stamp set} on white cardstock, coloured the flame and the poinsettias with TIM HOLTZ distress ink pads - WORN LIPSTICK, FIRED BRICK, SQUEEZED LEMONADE and PEELED PAINT and fussy cut the image.

the greenish leafy swirls i stamped with HCPC3682 sparkling poinsettia swirl cling stamp set and embossing ink, heat embossed with gold embossing powder and fussy cut the swirls. then i coloured them with TIM HOLTZ peeled paint distress ink.

for the poinsettias i used HCPC3680 sparkling poinsettia cling stamp set and HCD1-766 sparkling poinsettia die. to shape them i had the best helper ever - HEARTFELT CREATIONS' deluxe flower shaping kit. once i was satisfied with the result, i coloured the poinsettias with WORN LIPSTICK, FIRED BRICK and SQUEEZED LEMONADE distress ink pads and adhered a few gold pearls in the middle of the flowers.

i hope you enjoyed my project today!

Stunning! When I saw the first photo, I loved the softness of the colors, but then when I scrolled down a little and saw the photo taken at an angle, I honestly said "WOW!" when I saw the dimension. Love it!

WOW!
You have done a spectacular job of bringing all the beautiful elements of card art together, and you did it in such an elegant manner!
Your design is so rich. The colors you choose are stunning and subtle. The layers add just the right dimension to make the embossing background just pop. The embossing on the candle and leaves just takes them to the next level in detail and your pearl caps top it all off. What can one say...........this card is special and the artistic work stunning.
