cards with SECRET GARDEN {kaisercraft & merly impressions}

hello crafty peeps!

popping in today to share my second post for MERLY IMPRESSIONS' blog. as you already know this month i’m presenting KAISERCRAFT secret garden collection {available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS' online store}. 

this week i’ve prepared two all occasions cards using embossing folders, the mini PAPER PAD and the COLLECTABLES pack matching this collection - 

“LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE”

for my first card i used KAISERCARD cherry weave cardstock for the card base and KAISERCARD coconut weave cardstock for the second layer. the card base is 10x15cm and the white cardstock layer is 0.5cm shorter from each side. 

after i cut out the white cardstock, i embossed it with KAISERCRAFT embossing folder SMALL LEAVES, inked its edges with TIM HOLTZ mini distress pad PICKED RASPBERRY and spattered PINK and RED KAISERMIST on top.

after the mists have dried, i added the rest of the layers using pattern papers from the mini PAPER PAD and die cut elements from the mini PAPER PAD and the COLLECTABLES pack. i adhered all the layers with MOUNTING foam tape and curled the edges of the banners. 

the main sentiment i fussy cut from PATH pattern paper.

 to finish off my design i added RHINESTONES lippy red and mini paper blooms COCONUT, which I altered with TIM HOLTZ mini distress pad PICKED RASPBERRY.

“JUST FOR YOU”

for my second card i used KAISERCARD premium cardstock GREY for the card base and KAISERCARD coconut weave cardstock for the second layer. the card base is 10x15cm and the white cardstock layer is 0.5cm shorter from each side. i shaped the edges on the bottom layer with a corner punch. 

to emboss the white cardstock i used KAISERCRAFT embossing folder DAMASK. then i inked its edges with TIM HOLTZ mini distress pad STORMY SKY and spattered KAISERMIST spray ink DENIM on top. 

to create the layers under my sentiment i used PAPER DOILIES, the mini PAPER PAD and the COLLECTABLES pack from the secret garden collection. to adhere the layers i used MOUNTING foam tape.

to finish off my design i added RHINESTONES strips clear and RHINESTONES silver.
