INDIGOBLU july challenge "precious metals"

hello crafty friends!

a new month means a new challenge at INDIGOBLU challenge blog! and this month the theme is... challenge 30 - PRECIOUS METALS. 

just think megaflakes, metallic paints, anything that reminds you of precious metals, and of course INDIGOBLU stamps!

and here is a little bit of inspiration from me to get you started -

to create my card i used one of my favourite INDIGOBLU stamp sets - BLAZING POPPIES red rubber stamp -

and here are some close ups from my project - 

for my card base i used red cardstock - 15 x 21cm, which i folded in two. then i took a 10 x 14,5cm piece of white cardstock and coloured one half with INDIGOBLU english cottage artist's acrylic paint metallic SILVER and GOLDFINGER.

then i stamped the image with blazing poppies red rubber stamp and RANGER jet black ink. after the ink has dried i coloured the poppies with INDIGOBLU english cottage artists acrylic paint postbox RED.

for the small flowers i used INDIGOBLU english cottage artists acrylic paint PARK LANE mixed with a bit of INDIGOBLU english cottage artists acrylic paint PANTRY WHITE to get a lighter tint.
