Hello scrappy friends!
as you all know every month PRIMA has a feature - build a page (BAP). it is actually a sketch you can follow to build your PRIMA products on. and i'm hooked ever since i found about this challenge!
march prima's BAP sketch is just to my liking - playful and fun:
the moment i saw it, i knew i had to find our DISNEYLAND pictures:-) we - elise, me and hubby - went there few years ago in the spring. oh, the fun we had strolling around the DISNEY's avenues, visiting the castles and meeting the characters:-) to Elise they were all real and alive:-) it didn't matter how long the line was, she would wait patiently to meet & greet with every single DISNEY hero!
so, here is my take on this month PRIMA BAP sketch:
i couldn't resist and i shaped a big MICKEY from my circles:-)
i've used the following PRIMA products:
sparkling spring paper collection - "berry fresh"
sparkling spring paper collection - "frou frou"
sparkling spring paper collection - "pink apron"
sparkling spring rub ons
cardstock stickers - celebrate with jack and jill collection
annalee collection - alphabet stickers - pink
celebrate with jack & jill clear stamps
flower embellishments - mini rose pink colours
prima flowers - caboodles (pink and blue)
prima flowers - candies lollipop
prima pebbles - "flights of fancy"
other goodies i used:
tattered angels glimmer mist - pink bubblegum
tattered angles glimmer mist - santa baby
copic ciao markers - cardinal (R59)
DMC stranded cotton
stickles diamond
papicolour white cardstock 12" x 12"
i started with creating my background - some glimmer mist (both colours mixed), some stamping and stitching and voilĂ :
PRIMA has the pretties flowers in various shapes and sizes. the best thing is that you can combine the newest blossoms with their vintage lines. and they all look just perfect together:-)
the big flower comes from my candies lollipop can - i've sprayed it with some glimmer mist, added a pebble and just look at it! i've created a small heart from rhinestones and coloured it with copic ciao. the butterfly punch is from Martha Stewart.
the pink butterfly comes from PRIMA's paper and the little blue bird - from the sparkling spring rub ons set.
i used one border cardstock stripe from the celebrate with Jack & Jill collection and a paper stripe from the sparkling spring collection. i used another martha stewart punch - doily edge to shape my paper. the title us crated with PRIMA pink alphabet, which i coloured with copic ciao markers.
here is a close up from my PRIMA bouquet!:-)
thanks so much for stopping by! I really appreciate every visit and comment!
hugs 'n smiles,
Emmy
