LIVE in the MOMENT {SA CRAFTERS}

hello lovelies!

today i would like to share one of my layouts i created as a design team member for SA CRAFTERS. and as usual, there is a video tutorial at the end of this blog post -

"LIVE in the MOMENT"

for my background i used KAISERCARD coconut weave cardstock, SA CRAFTERS 6x6 fancy flowers stencil and different colours TIM HOLTZ distress ink pads {spun sugar, worn lipstick, milled lavender and dried marigold}. after the ink has dried, i sprayed my background with TATTERED ANGELS jack frost, denim and pink bubblegum glimmer mist. then i sprayed a bit of water to create the water drops effect.

for the frame around my page i used PRIMA marketing stitch cling stamp square and chalk fluid edger knotted wood.

for my title i used various sticker alphabets from PRIMA marketing - almanac collection and fairy rhymes collection cardstock stickers and fairy belle textured stickers.

to alter the lovely oval frame from SA CRAFTERS {chipboard flourish frame} i used pink and sage coloured embossing powder.

the pattern papers are from PRIMA marketing PRINCESS collection. for the heart die cut and the stripes i used TIM HOLTZ scribbles and splat thinlits die. i fussy cut the birds and the branches from the pattern paper and i coloured the mini white roses with pink distress ink.

the beautiful SA CRAFTERS wood flag sentiments i added to my page as they were, because i believe that the wood colour matches very well this paper line.

i used various MARIANNE design foliage dies to cut the leaves behind my flowers. the flowers are...  PRIMA of course - fiesta collection, pixie glen roses and mini roses.

and here is the YOUTUBE tutorail as promised:

THANK YOU for stopping by today!

have a wonderful creative week!

mixed-media card {SA CRAFTERS}

hello everybody!

sharing another mixed-media card today created with some of the lovely SA CRAFTERS products. i used different stencils and chipboard shapes, and there is also a video tutorial at the end of this post -

"LIFE IS PRETTY AMAZING"

for my card i used one of the newest KAISERCRAFT collection "SCRAP YARD" {available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS online store}.

to colour the base of my card i used TIM HOLTZ distress ink "broken china" and "tea dye". then i added a layer of pattern paper altered with SA CRAFTERS 6x6" triangle stencil and 6x6" chevron mixed sides stencil.

the quote is from the collectable pack from the same paper line.

to alter the GEARS {chipboard gear set} i used STAMPENDOUS embossing enamel aged copper.

TIP! don't throw away the chipboard dot from the inside of the gears wheels and the chipboard left over frames - you can always use them as extra embellishments on your project.

look at my project - i used the heart frame and the gear inside dots.

for the heart and its frame {chipboard hearts & gears 3 pcs} i used STAMPENDOUS shabby white embossing enamel.

mixed-media cards with chippies {SA CRAFTERS}

hello crafty friends!

it is my turn on SA CRAFTERS' blog today and i've prepared two very different mixed-media cards, loaded with chippies, for my post over there. and of course, i would like to share them with you as well!

TIP! there is a brand NEW video tut at the end of this post -

"FRIENDSHIP"

to create my cards i used papers from KAISERCRAFT "antique bazaar" collection {available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS' online store} and gold cardstock.

i covered the gold cardstock with gesso to soften the colour and ruffled the edges of the pattern paper.

to embellish my quote i used SA CRAFTERS chipboard frames set 3 pc. i atered the frame with STAMPENDOUS shabby white embossing enamel.

i kept the small hearts from the sides of the frame, altered them with STICKLES red glitter glue.

"LEARN, LIVE, HOPE"

for my second card i used the same paper line from KAISERCRAFT "antique bazaar" {available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS' online store} and brown and white cardstock. i adhered all the layers with mounting foam tape.

to alter my background i used two different SA CRAFTERS stencils. first i covere the cardstock with TIM HOLTZ brown distress ink. then i used the 6x6 triangle stencil with black ink to create the black pattern and 6x6 chevron mixed sides stencil with texture paste to create the chevron dimensional layer. finally i sprinkled KAISERMIST "antique gold" on top of it.

to embellish my card i used WOOD POST IT STAMPS 3 pc.

and the large gear wheel from the CHIPBOARD GEARS set, which i altered with STAMPENDOUS aged copper embossing enamel.

GIGGLE {SA CRAFTERS}

hello scrappy friends!

it is a lovely sunny day in HOLLAND and before i'm going out to enjoy a cup of coffee with my girlfriends, i would like to share my newest layout with you.

i created this one using the amazing products of SA CRAFTERS and as usual there is a step-by-step YOUTUBE tutorial at the end of this post.

"GIGGLE HAPPILY"

to create my layout i used KAISERCRAFT "garage days"collection, available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS online store.

for my background i used SPARE PARTS pattern paper, texture paste and SA CRAFTERS 6x6 chevron mix sides stencil. after the paste has dried, i sprinkled TATTERED ANGELS glimmer mist on top of it - SUNFLOWER and JACK FROST.

i used various die cuts from the COLLECTABLE pack and fussy cut elements from the pattern papers to embellish my page.

the pretty gear-clock corner is from SA CRAFTERS "chipboard gears and cameo" set, but i cut off the cameo to use on a different girly project. to alter the chippie i used VERSAMARK watermark ink and STAMPENDOUS "aged copper" embossing powder.

the gear wheels are also from SA CRAFTERS - "chipboard gears" set.

i also used one of the "wood flag sentiments" to create my title.

mixed-media card with chippies and stencils {SA CRAFTERS}

good morning lovelies!

it is time for my monthly project for SA CRAFTERS and i've prepared a brand new creation + a video tutorial to share!

this time i decided to create an every occasion card for my best friend! i haven't seen her in awhile and i believe a hand-made card is the perfect way to send my regards and best wishes to her!

so, here it is - a mixed-media card for your best friend:

for my background i used 10 x 15 cm white card base, which i altered with SA CRAFTERS 6x6" triangle stencil and black ink, and TIM HOLTZ brown distress ink.

for my second layer i was wondering between mint and black, but at the end i decided that though mint will add an extra colour to my colour palette, black look much better with my vintage-industrial design.

for the third, and the final paper layer, i used pattern paper from the 6 x 6" paper pad from KAISERCRAFT antique bazaar collection.

to give extra dimension to my project, i used SA CRAFTERS chevron mix sides stencil with white texture paste and the fancy flowers stencil with black ink. to finish off my background i sprinkled TATTERED ANGELS "bahama blue" glimmer mist and "black olive" glimmer glaze on top.

to alter the gear wheels (SA CRAFTERS chipboard gears pack) i used VERSAMARK watermark stamp pad and CLEARSNAP black embossing powder.

then i applied the same combination for the square chipboard frame. the die cut sentiment and the clock faces come from KAISERCRAFT antique bazaar collectables pack.

and here is a step-by-step YOUTUBE video tutorial:

i hope i managed to inspire you today!

have a FABULOUS week!
