DIE-VERSIONS / SPARKLE N' SPRINKLE blog hop

hello lovelies!

SPARKLE N' SPRINKLE and DIE-VERSIONS are partnering up for a very special joint blog hop, called the AWARENESS CAMPAIGN. a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the newly released DIE-VERSIONS dies and the stamp sets revealed in the joint blog hop will go to help with cancer research. Almost every one has been touched by cancer is one way or another. either you or a family member has had cancer or you know someone who has had cancer.

the DESIGNERS from both teams are joining together to help the fight to eradicate all cancers by inspiring you.

not only are we debuting NINE new DIE-VERSIONS low profile dies (JULY 2015 Reveal - scroll down to the end of the reveal), SPARKLE N' SPRINKLE is also revealing THREE stamp sets for this AWARENESS CAMPAIGN.

 the SNS sets are:
SURVIVOR 713 (digi version DIGI713T
AWARENESS 714 (digi version DIGI714T

a GRAND PRIZE winner will be chosen from comments left on the DESIGNERS' blogs and will be announced on august 4th. you won't know who the MYSTERY DESIGNER is until after the joint blog hop, so remember to leave a comment with each of the designers.

the WINNER will be announced on the DIE-VERSIONS facebook page, the SPARKLE N SPRINKLE facebook page, the DIE-VERSIONS blog, and on the SNS blog and will receive a $25 gift certificate from BOTH DIE-VERSIONS and SPARKLE N' SPRINKLE

and here is what i prepared for this AWARENESS CAMPAIGN -

to create this cars i used dark pink and white cardstock, different embossing powders, a stamp and a die.

the card base is 10 x 15 cm. i cut out 9 x 14 cm rectangle from white cardstock and heat embossed the background using SNS AWARENESS 714 stamp set and SNS Petal Pink Embossing Powder [EP220]. i repeated the word awareness and the ribbon image as many times as necessary to complete the background. after the embossing powder had cooled down, i distressed the edges using TIM HOLTZ mini distress ink pad.

for the bra i used DIE-VERSIONS whispers SURVIVOR BRA die and white cardstock. to colour the die cut i used SNS Petal Pink Embossing Powder [EP220] and SNS Antiquities Embossing Powder [EP266].

cheerful memory {SA CRAFTERS}

hello crafty friends!

today is my turn over at SA CRAFTERS' blog and here what i've created with their amazing products -

"CHEERFUL  MEMORY"

for this layout i decided to work with a picture of THEO, taken last summer. he looks so naughty on this photo - just his usual self!

while looking at THEO's picture i thought KAISERCRAFT "close up" collection would be perfect for it, because it is a CLOSE UP of THEO - of his cute little face and of his friendly mischievous character.

for my background i used "DEVELOP" pattern paper, which i altered with stamps and paints.
i used BLACK ink pad and DISTRESS clear stamp to create the extra black pattern on my background. then i added the dimensional white arrow layer using TEXTURE paste and SA CRAFTERS 6 x 6 arrow stencil. after the paste has dried, i splashed TATTERED ANGELS glimmer glam "CELEBRATE" and glimmer glaze "COWBOY" on top of all the layers.

to embellish my layout i used the 6 x 6 paper pad - i fussy cut the film strips and the small cameras from there. the cute paper clip is from SA CRAFTERS - chipboard paper clips. i altered it using VERSAMARK watercolour ink and MIXE'D MEDIA black embossing powder from CLEARSNAP.

for my title i used wood FLAG SENTIMENTS set 2, without altering the piece, and a photo frame from the COLLECTABLES pack.

to create the clock i used SA CRAFTERS chipboard clock set. i used the small sized clock and the inner circle from the set. i coloured the inner circle with i altered it using VERSAMARK watercolour ink and MIXE'D MEDIA black embossing powder from CLEARSNAP.  for the clock chippie i used SPARKLE 'N SPRINKLE sienna star embossing powder. the clock hands are made from wood and covered with black embossing powder {wood clock hands}.

to create the stacks of vintage cameras i used KAISERCRAFT COLLECTABLES pack6 x 6 paper pad, FOCUS patter paper and 12 x 12" sticker sheet.

what i really love about SA CRAFTERS products is that you can create really great embellishments from unexpected left overs. i took the plastic arrows from the 6 x 6 arrow stencil, coloured them with glimmer glaze "COWBOY" and used them to decorate my page.

and here is the video tutorial you can find on my YOUTUBE channel:

i hope you enjoyed today's project!

thank you for visiting my blog!

BEST FRIENDS {sparkle n sprinkle}

hello sparkly friends!

i would like to share with my last post as a design team member for SPARKLE N SPRINKLE. and though it fills me with sadness that all good things must come to an end, just thinking about my time in this amazing team will brighten my days as i go and explore the new challenges in front of me!

so, without further ado, here it is my final project for SPARKLE N SPRINKLE {but of course i won’t stop using their amazing products and you will see many more sparkly projects on my blog} -

"BEST FRIENDS"

this picture is one of many from our last photo shoot in BULGARIA. i really love all of the pictures we got that day and working with them is so easy and enjoyable!
for this layout i used WEBSTER'S PAGES "best friends" collection, CREATIVE EMBELLISHMENTS chipboard pieces and white cardstock {for the flowers}, as well as a lot of sparkly embossing powder and glitters from SPARKLE N SPRINKLE.

to create the pattern on the background i used a masking template with a mixture of G1030 fascination glitter and EP429 Mediterranean Star embossing powder.

for the flowers i used HEARTFELT CREATIONS stamps and dies. i stamped the flowers with VERSAMARK ink onto white cardstock using HCPC3608 arianna blooms precut set. then i heat embossed the set using SNS EP332 country blue embossing powder.
after the embossing powder has cooled down, i die cut the blossoms using HCD748 arianna blooms die.

for the leaves i used white cardstock, VERSAMARK ink and EP351 sage embossing powder. the stamp set and cutting die are from HEARTFELT CREATIONS - HCPC3545 open leaf precut set and HCD736 classic leaf die.

for my title i used a chipboard frame with the word TOGETHER cut into it {the chippie is from CREATIVE EMBELLISHMENTS' together frame set}. i filled in the letters with EP429 mediterranean star sparkly embossing powder.

i hope you enjoyed today’s post!

come back soon!

SEPTEMBER creations with DIE-VERSIONS

hello crafty friends!

i've got a few cards to share with you today, which i created with the wonderful dies from DIE-VERSIONS

for the first card i mixed our latest CHRISTMAS IN JULY release with a SWEET WORDLETS seasonal die:

how i did it: to mat the ruffled light blue cardstock panel i used a 10 x 15 cm dark blue card base. then i sprayed the white cardstock panel (9 x 14 cm) with a light blue paint spray and spattered some dark blue paint on it. when the paint has dried, i doodled the frame and adhered the ready panel to the card base.

to create the large snowflake i used DV whispers die "delicate snowflake". i die cut the snowflake from dark blue and from white cardstock, and adhered it to my card using mounting tape. to finish off my design i added the blue button in the middle.

for my title i used the sweet wordlets "seasons greetings" die. i adhered it to the card using a glue pen - it is really handy with small details.

*****

for my second card today, i used the two exactly the same dies, but the effect is completely different:

i used a red card base this time, which i mat with a layer of white cardstock and a layer of pattern paper. to decorate the card front i added the dotted edge using RANGER liquid pearls "white opal".

to create the half glittery snowflake i used DV whispers die "delicate snowflake". i adhered a double sided tape to a white cardstock, die cut the snowflake, then i removed the second protective layer and sprinkled white glitter on it.

my title i die cut with the sweet wordlets "seasons greetings" die.

as you can see - you can use one and the same die over and over again, and depending on the papers you use and the style you are trying - the effect is always wonderful and unique!

i hope i managed to inspire you today!

have a fabulous week!

HEARTFELT CREATIONS and CREATIVE EMBELLISHMENTS cross promotion

hello crafty friends!

i've got a fabulous news to share with you today - we've {CREATIVE EMBELLISHMENTS} have teamed up with HEARTFELT CREATIONS to show how well their products compliment our chippies! so, it means - double inspiration for you!

"#PINK #PARTY"

i chose this picture of ELISE and WILLY because they both look so happy on it and so PINK!

hence my title - i used my favourite CREATIVE EMBELLISHMENTS chipboard set social hash tags. i covered the chippies with a layer of gesso and when the gesso was dry, i heat embossed them with a pink embossing powder from SPARKLE N SPRINKLE.

for my layout i used WEBSTER'S PAGES modern romance collection. i added the zig-zag borders from the chevron border / background chipboard set to use them as a basis for my flowers and the rest of the embellishments.

i die cut the branches using SPELLBINDERS cherry blossoms die and brown cardstock.

to create the pink blossoms i used HEARTFELT CREATIONS’ HCD 742 majestic blooms die and HCPC 3577 vintage morning background precut set.

i stamped the flowers with VERSAMARK ink on pink cardstock and heat embossed them using SNS EP298 white detail embossing powder. for the flower centers i used pink gala glitz - this is a combination of glass glitter, two sizes of beads, and glass shards, and it look perfect on flowers!

for the pink pearly swirls i used ZVA creative pink pearly swirl, which a divided in few parts in order to fit my design better.

for the foliage i used HEARTFELT CREATIONS' HCPC3545 open leaf precut set and HCD736 classic leaf die.

if you are curious what the rest of the design teams did with their products, make sure to check out HEARTFELT CREATIONS' blog and CREATIVE EMBELLISHMENTS' blog.
