hello crafty friends!

and welcome to SPARKLE N SPRINKLE february 1st reveal!!!

we hope you enjoy all the new SNS products in 2014 including:
less expensive stamp sets;
our own line of digital stamps;
cut files to match our stamp sets;
an exclusive line of designer papers to match our glitters and embossing powders.

this month we are featuring three fun new stamp sets by artists MICHELLE PERKETT and BECCY MUIR.

and here is what i've created with their new stamps sets -

"MERMAID KISSES"

i beased my layout on the JANUARY sketch from MY CREATIVE SKETCHES.

some close ups from my project:

i used two different masks from THE CRAFTER'S WORKSHOP {mini flying geese and mini circle explosion} with modelling paste to alter my background paper.

i stamped the fancy shell from the SNS mermaid kisses #529 stamp set with a light brown ink and decorated it with a white pearl. i used RANGER INK liquid pears buttercup to decorate my paper layers.

to create my embellishments i die cut various beach themed shapes using CUTTLEBUG dies, white cardstock and SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES adhesive sheets. after my die cuts where ready, i just peeled back the second protective sheet to reveal the adhesive surface and sprinkled different colors glitters and embossing powders on them.

for the sea shells i used peruvian lily velvet glitter (microfine) [GM2014].

for the sea stars i used and the large shell i used a combination of CAPPUCCINO STAR embossing powder [EP434] and SUNSET opaque glitter [G1040].

i coloured the large blue shell with ICE RINK embossing powder [EP408]; for the the small sea stars i used MELON TWIST embossing powder [EP402] and CAYENNE STAR embossing powder [EP435].

for my title i stamped the sentiment from the SNS mermaid kisses #529 stamp set with VERSAMARK ink on white cardstock and heat embossed it with FIERY BROWN embossing powder [EP369].

to colour my mermaid i used various colours SNS embossing powders and glitters and COPIC sketch markers - grey and green.

i stamped the image with MEMENTO INK "rich cocoa" on a white cardstock. i used ICE RINK embossing powder [EP408] to colour the mermaids tail and peruvian lily velvet glitter (microfine) [GM2014] for the small flowers. then i added HIT the BEACH embossing powder [EP394] to the hair. i coloured the stone with a grey COPIC sketch marker and used DIAMOND DUST chunky semi-transparent glitter [G1116] for the sea foam and MEDITERRANEAN STAR embossing powder [EP429] for the sea.

here is a complete list with all the SNS products i used on my layout:

programmed for mischief {MERLY IMPRESSIONS & KAISERCRAFT}

hello scrappy friends!

 today i would like to share a brand new layout with you, which i created for MERLY IMPRESSIONS, using the amazing KAISERCRAFT “garage days” collection.
i thought this paper line will fit my picture perfectly!

"PROGRAMMED FOR MISCHIEF"

to create my background i used the nuts and bolts pattern paper from the garage days collection, the crafter's workshop masking template with harlequin design and TIM HOLTZ “broken china” distress ink pad. after the ink has dried i added additional structure with PRIMA marketing "stars" masking template and white modeling paste.

then i cut the shield gloss die cut paper in two and added the red half to the side of my layout, after i distressed its edges.

to create the banner and most of the embellishments i used the COLLECTABLES pack from the same collection. i tied the banner and the tags with TIM HOLTZ idea-ology paper string – black and white.

to build LUIGI'S tire tower i used also cardstock die cuts from the COLLECTABLES pack.

 for my title i used a WOW chipboard title "programmed for mischief". i altered it with SPARKLE N SPRINKLE buttercup petal [EP389] and pool side [EP393] embossing powders.

i distressed the edges of my pictures and layered it on a 10 x 15 cm KAISERCRAFT coconut weave cardstock and a 11 x 16 cm piece from the tire shop pattern paper.

for the black film strips i used TIM HOLTZ sizzlits decorative strip die "filmstrip frames". i embssed the inner parts with TIM HOLTZ "blueprint and gear set" embossing folders and placed them back in the filmstrip.

 thank you for visiting my blog today!

i really appreciate your sweet words and comments!
