CHERISH TODAY {kaisercraft & merly impressions}

hello crafty peeps!

i would like to share my latest layout with you, which i designed using KAISERCRAFT's treasured moments collection {available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS’ online store}. there is also a short tutorial on how to alter your background using CLEAR stamps and KAISERMISTS at the beginning of this post -

"CHERISH TODAY"

for my background i used WONDER pattern paper. i placed my picture on the paper and marked its position using a pencil. then i took RANGER archival ink black and KAISERCRAFT clear stamp " BOTANICAL" and started stamping around my marks. i didn’t use the stamp design completely instead i stamped random parts to create the frame-like image.

 after the black ink has dried, i took the flower stamp from the clear stamp set matching the collection, TIM HOLTZ mini distress ink pad – WORN LIPSTICK and SHABBY SHUTTERS, and stamped the image several times on my frame.

after that i took the clock face and the dictionary words from the same stamp set and stamped them randomly onto my background paper.

as a final touch i sprinkled KAISERMIST spray ink – PINK, CANDY and ANTIQUE GOLD on top.
to create the layers under my picture i used different pattern papers from the mini PAPER PAD and die cuts from the COLLECTABLES pack. i shaped the edges of the pattern papers using MARTHA STEWART edge punch and adhered them with MOUNTING foam tape.

the wooden heart is from KAISERCRAFT’s lucky dip wooden shapes – HEARTHS. i altered it with STAMPENDOUS copper embossing enamel.

 for the flowers cluster i used stickers from the 12″ STICKER sheet, die cuts from the COLLECTABLES pack and fussy cut images from the mini PAPER PAD. before adhering them to my design i shaped them with EMBOSSING tool and altered them with STICKLES star dust.

 i used stickers from the 12″ STICKER sheet also as subtitles or random quotes.

the intricate design under the sticker word is made with KAISERCRAFT’s charlotte dream rub-ons set. i used the same set to add the leafy edges to the background paper.

as a final touch i added few gems from RHINESTONE sparklets – CORAL pack.

i hope i managed to inspire you today! have an amazing weekend! and don't forget to scrap! :-)

"JULIET"

to create this card i used INDIGOBLU juliet A6 red rubber stamp

then i coloured the flowers the the butterflies using INDIGOBLU english cottage artist's acrylic paint "CINDERELLA", "GOLDFINGER" and "BANANA CUSTARD".

CHERISHED MEMORIES {kaisercraft & merly impressions}

hello crafty friends!

today i would like to share my very first 2016 layout with you!

this month i’ve got the privilege to work with KAISERCRAFT's TREASURED MOMENTS collection {available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS’ online store}. i really enjoy fussy cutting, layering and playing with the delicate butterflies and lovely blossoms featured in this paper line.

i used the RECALL pattern paper for my background. i cut off 2cm from two of the sides of the RECOLLECTION pattern paper, inked its edges with TIM HOLTZ mini distress ink pad – BLACK SOOT, distress them and adhered it on top of the RECALL pattern paper with KAISERCRAFT 12mm double-sided tape.

then i stamped the butterfly pattern using clear stamp – FLUTTER and BLACK ink pad, and sprinkled KAISERMIST spray ink – CHARCOAL on top.

to create the layers under my picture i used pattern papers from the mini PAPER PAD and different die cuts from the COLLECTABLES pack. i layered them, inked their edges and embellished them with rhinestones – BRONZE.

i fussy cut the black butterflies from a glossy pattern paper from the mini PAPER PAD, shaped them with EMBOSSING tool and adhered them to my page with MOUNTING foam tape.

to finish off my design i added STICKLES diamond glitter glue to some of the die cut images and adhered them together using MOUNTING foam tape.

here is a list with all products available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS’ online store:

i hope i managed to inspire you today!

so get your papers and join me in 2016 creative adventure!
