FAMILY {BOBUNNY & 3L ADHESIVES}

hello scrappy friends!

it is time to do some HOPPING over at BOBUNNY's blog and i would like to share the layout i've created for the BOBUNNY and 3L scrapbook adhesives Blog Hop. it features the gorgeous FELICITY collection and a lot of 3D foam products from SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES by 3L.

on the picture are my two favourite girls - WILLY and ELISE - being funny and trying the nerves of the photographer :-)

"FAMILY"

PATTERN PAPER: felicity, always, parasols, romance, serendipity, trellis / FELICITY
6x6 paper pad: FELICITY
 noteworthy: FELICITY
combo sticker: FELICITY
layered chipboard: FELICITY
 double dot jewels: AQUA, MOCHA
glitter paste: SILVER, SUGAR
stickable stencils: OH MY STARS
laser cut chipboard: FAMILY
tools: palette knife assortment pack, soft grip scissors

3D foam squares
crafty foam tape white

creamy acrylic paint - PINK

and here are some more CLOSE UPS and some TIPS & TRICKS on how i did it:

use the stickable stencil with GLITTER PASTE to alter the background paper.

fussy cut the flowers, the parasols and the clock faces from pattern paper, emboss them slightly and adhere them using foam tape.

TIP! use mounting foam tape to adhere your embellishments directly onto the glittery layer. the normal double sided tape doesn't like sticking to glitter paste or other media sometimes :-)

add rhinestones and GLITTER PASTE to embellish your fussy cut images.

use a chipboard piece for the title.
TIP! to obtain even pink colour, cover the chippie with pink paint first (or gesso) and then heat emboss it with embossing powder of your choice.

i hope you enjoyed today's post!

make sure to stop by BOBUNNY's blog and leave a comment for a chance to WIN a lovely PRIZE!

hugs 'n smiles,

CUTE CHRISTMAS BAUBLES {kaisercraft & merly impressions}

hello crafty peeps!

today i would like to share my first project for DECEMBER for MERLY IMPRESSIONS' blog and it had to be CHRISTMAS themes of course.
this month i have the pleasure to work with the most adorable KAISERCRAFT collection PEEK-A-BOO {available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS'  online store}. this collection is perfect for both little boys and little girls and combining it with any of the BEYOND THE PAGE MDF products form KAISERCRAFT, you can create the perfect gift for  grandparents and aunties!

there is also a short tutorial on how i created them in this post!

"CUTE CHRISTMAS BAUBLES"

decorative die - SNOWFLAKES
decorative die - GEO TAGS

OTHERS:
spellbinders - nestabilities, LABELS 1
DISTRESS STICKLES - broken china
STICKLES dry glitter - THISTLE
white poinsettia flowers
seambinding ribbon - pink and white

here are some close ups of my project with a short TUTORIAL on how i did it:

STEP 1: cover the visible areas of the  MDF BAUBLE DECORATIONS with KAISERCOLOUR - white paint and allow them to dry naturally. don't forget the small side edges!

STEP 2: once the paint is dry, cover the the front of the  BAUBLES with blue and pink STICKLES -glitter glue or dry glitter. use your fingers to smudge the glitter on the baubles for even coverage.

STEP 3: measure the back side of the baubles and cut pieces of pattern paper and pictures to fit it. ink the edge of the pattern paper shapes.

STEP 4: cut out the sentiments from the paper pad and die cut different embellishments using cardstock and KAISERCRAFT dies.

STEP 5: assemble everything together using double sided tape and mounting foam tape as shown on the picture. add rhinestones to decorate the die-cuts.

STEP 6: add the ribbon bow and a small white flower. to create the hanger for the bauble, use pink and blue hemp cord.

i hope i managed to inspire you today!

i'm off to hang these cuties on our CHRISTMAS tree!
