smiles 'n butterflies {DT work for SKETCHABILITIES}

hello scrappy friends!

it's the end of the month and it is time for the design team reveal at SKETCHABLITIES!

this time i chose to work with the new AMAZING paper line from PRIMA "sun kiss":

and here is the WONDERFUL sketch from karan gerber i had to work with:

i outlined the banners with white pen to make them more visible. i added stamped images {PRIMA stamps}, PRIMA flowers from different collections and fussy cut elements to decorate my picture. the LOVELY green swirl is from FLOURISH with a BLING - chloe pearl flourish olive green. i cut one of them in two to fit on my project and i used some FWAB adhesive pearls olive green in the corner.

i added a lot of butterflies as well - i used MARTHA STEWART's "pop up butterfly" edge punch, "monarch butterfly"  and "large monarch butterfly" punches and fussy cut images from the pattern papers to create my butterflies:

as usual i did a lot of stitching, inking and embossing on this page.

THANK YOU for visiting my blog!

have a BEAUTIFUL swirly day!

HOME is where the HEART is {DT work for heartfelt creations}

hello scrappy friends,

after a looong break - i'm back and scrappy more than ever:-)

as you know, today it is wednesday and it is time for my weekly HEARTFELT CREATIONS project.

this week i decided to mix different lines of paper, stamps and embellishments and here is the result:

HEARTFELT CREATIONS products used on this project:

for the background i used 12” x 12” pattern paper from webster's pages' "WONDERFALL" collection. i placed PRIMA's "iron gate" mask in the middle and created the gate image using TIM HOLTZ’ "tea dye" distress ink pad.

i framed the pictures with two light blue stripes, punched with martha stewart's "doily lace" edge punch and placed it on a brown rectangle, punched with martha stewart's "cherish" punch set. then i fussy cut different floral elements from pattern paper, embossed them slightly to give dimension to my page and arranged them around the picture.

i printed a smaller picture, cut a window in the fussy cut frame with decorative scissors and glued the picture inside it. i added STICKLES "copper" glitter glue to outline the frame and glued the framed picture on my layout with 3d adhesive tape.

 then i stamped and cut the wooden fence elements with HC palisade farmstead set and HC rustic western elements die; glued them under the picture and decorated them with leafy branches {HC decorative layered basket die}.

i stamped and cut the blossoms from two different pattern papers. i used the HC flora grande 2 set, HC flora grande 1 set and the blossoms nestabilities die. i shaped the individual petals by hand, glued the layers together and added STICKLES glitter glue to the flowers' center.

i stamp and cut the small leaves with HC distressed leaves set and the foliage shapeabilities die.

for the title i fussy cut the big blue letters from WEBSTER'S PAGES' pattern paper, covered them with TIM HOLTZ' cotton candy crackle paint and adhered them with 3d tape. then i wrote the sub-title by hand with white ball pen and i colored the small letters with TIM HOLTZ' distress markers and the big ones with stickles copper glitter glue.

using the HC decorative butterfly-border die i cut a border from brown cardstock. i glued pattern paper stripe and lace on top of it and added it to the upper left corner of my layout.

i hope you ENJOYED my post!

come back next wednesday for more HEARTFELT CREATIONS projects!

hugs 'n smiles,

winter fun {DT work for sketchabilities}

good morning scrappy friends!

it's 15th of the month and it's time for another reveal at SKETCHABILITIES!

the first sketch for this month is #71 and it is designed by the very creative owner of SKETCHABILITIES karan gerber.

"winter fun"

and here is the sketch:

i used the ever so cute "winter fairy tales" collection by webster's pages.

here are some close ups from my layout:

i fussy cut the cute winter village from "magic all around" paper; i used 3d tape to give dimension to my page.

the title is created with webster's pages alpha stickers and fabric tickets, which i embellished with rhinestones.

the pink ovals with cute text i cut from "once upon a time" paper - there are so many and the possibilities to use them are endless!

i fussy cut the butterflies from "little fairy tale" paper - i think they look perfect on a little pink fairy snowy layout!

the cute deer came from my background paper, as the subtitle.

i used TIM HOLTZ' bigz die "holiday lamppost" as an embellishment.

and don't forget, you have until may 29th to complete your project and link it under SKETCHABILITIES' challenge blog post.

i can't wait to see your creations!

hugs 'n smiles,

my cup of tea {DT work for heartfelt creations}

hello scrappy friends!

we are delighted to present the OLD ENGLISH GARDEN collection. come have a cup of tea with us in our old english garden. with flower blooms as fresh as the morning dew and cracked walls as old as the dirt beneath it, this set offers a rustic flavor. the typography flows as smoothly as a calm spring breeze. Be sure to grab the custom die for maximum creative versatility and fun 3D depth! there are 6 new precut stamp sets and one beautiful new exclusive spellbinders die designed for HEARTFELT CREATIONS

and this what i've created with the FANTASTIC new release:

HEARTFELT CREATIONS products used on this project:

i started by preparing my background - i shaped the edges of a 12 x 12" pattern paper {PRIMA marketing LEDGER paper pad} with martha stewart “CHERISH” punch around the page set. then, i cut a 28 x 28 cm square from my core'dinations "rose embroidery" pink cardstock and stamped the corner swirl from HC tattered blossom swirls set in all 4 corners and the background image from HC broken cinder blocks set along the edges.

i cut another piece of pattern paper {27 x 27cm} and shape its edges with martha stewart “cherish” punch around the page set; placed it on top of the pink cardstock and stitched it with green DMC thread. i punched 4 stripes from pink and blue pattern paper using FISKARS “apron lace” edge punch, curled the edges and framed my picture with them.

then i stamped 4 middle and 1 large cups with HC china fragments set on different color pattern paper and die cut them with nested tea cups nestabilities. i coloured the edges and the large flowers with martha stewart golden glitter marker and adhered them around the picture with 3d double sided type.

using the HC tattered blossoms precut set and HC tattered blossoms die i stamped and die cut the layers for my tattered blossoms. i coloured them a bit with TIM HOLTZ' “tattered rose” and “victorian velvet” distress ink pads, embossed and shaped the petals by hand and layered the flowers. i added STICKLES “golden” glitter glue in the middle of the blossom to make it prettier.

using the HC distressed leaves set and nested leaves nestabilities i stamp and die cut the leaves. i used 3 sizes for the different blossoms. to match the cups pattern i stamped and cut few posies with HC posy patch flowers set and HC posy patch die; embossed their petals, added a rhinestone in the middle and glued them with 3d tape around the tattered blossoms.

i used PRIMA "almanac" alphabet stickers {the words} and pink puffy alphabet for the title.

LOVE is patient {DT work for heartfelt creations}

hello scrappy friends!

it's wednesday again and it is time for my favourite weekly post - my HEARTFELT CREATIONS project!

this week i got to work with the absolutely fabulous picture from LINDA and WILLIS.

so, here it is - my layout for this amazing and inspirational couple -

"LOVE is patient and kind"

heartfelt creations products used on this project:

i started by distressing the edges of my cardstock with TIM HOLTZ' “broken sapphire” distress ink. i cut rectangle from pattern paper and shaped its edges with MARTHA STEWART “3 dot” punch around the page set. then, i cut a smaller rectangle from yellowish cardstock, rounded its corners, distressed the edges and coloured them with “broken sapphire”. i stitched the yellow cardstock rectangle on top of the pattern paper rectangle and then i stamped the frame around this picture with HC daisy patch swirls set.

using the picot edge circles nestabilities die i cut out few circles from pattern paper. i stamped the circular sentiment from HC agape love set on a yellow cardstock and added it on top of the large blue picot circle. then, i stamped the LOVE sentiment in the middle to create my title.

i stamped various sizes flowers with HC botanical floral 2 set and HC botanical floral 1 set and die cut them with rose creations shapeabilities; embossed and shaped the individual petals by hand. then i punched few starburst flowers and glued them in the middle of my blossoms. i attached the different layers with a brad and sprayed the purple flowers with glimmer mist “delphinium”.

using the HC belle rose die i cut few leaves with swirls, embossed them and arranged them around the picture. to finish off my layout, i added rhinestones and glitter glue.

i hope you liked today's post!

come back next wednesday for the may NEW product release!
