AUGUST cards galore with DIE-VERSIONS

 hello crafty friends!

it is the end of the month and as usual i'm sharing my work as a design team member for DIE-VERSIONS

this month i've prepared a few cards featuring our latest release " CHRISTMAS IN JULY".

"LET IT SNOW"

i used two dies to create this card - sweet wordlets "LET IT SNOW" die and whispers "SANTA's REINDEERS" die.

i layered white cardstock on top of the dark blue card base and added a layer of pattern paper on top. before adhering the layered together i distressed their edges and stitched a white frame on the pattern paper one.

then i decided to embellish the snowy sky with SANTA's sleigh. i covered a piece of white cardstock with double-sided tape and die cut the sleigh using "SANTA's REINDEERS" die. i removed the second protective layer of the tape and covered the die cut with white glitter to get a glittery shimmering effect.

for my sentiment i used sweet wordlets "LET IT SNOW" die with dark blue pattern paper.

*****

" X-MAS JOY"

for my second card i used different layers of pattern paper {MARIANNE design}, ribbon and glitter glue.

for my sentiment i used whispers HOLIDAY WORD ORNAMENTS die. i die cut the ornaments from white cardstock and colored them with silver and red glitter.

i hope you enjoyed today's post!

THANK YOU for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

courageous {MERLY IMPRESSIONS & KAISERCRAFT}

hello crafty peeps!

i would like to share a layout i created for MERLY IMPRESSIONS.CO.UK, featuring KAISERCRAFT game on! collection -

"COURAGEOUS"

i really like this collection! though the papers are designed for a specific sport, you can mix-match them and create your own set for any type of adventure!

i started with kaisercard coconut weave cardstock, which i cut to 29 x 29 cm. then i sprayed the middle part of my cardstock with DYLUSIONS ink sprayslemon zest and melted chocolate. when the ink had dried, i added the stamped pattern at the edges using KAISERCRAFT film edges clear stamp with black ink and lattice clear stamp with TIM HOLTZ mini distress ink pads – salty ocean. to finish off my background design, i hand stitched the black frame and sprinkled some blue and brown DYLUSIONS ink sprays on top of it.

when i was satisfied with the result, i adhered the already altered coconut weave cardstock onto KAISERCRAFT game on! – player pattern paper.

the coloured rub ons borders are from the TECHNOLOGIC collection.

to give more dimension to my layout i added two layers under my picture – i used team mate and player patter papers. i distressed their edges using TIM HOLTZ paper distresser tool.

the paper die cuts and embellishments are from the COLLECTABLES packages matching the collection – equipment and awards.

for the journalling spot and some of the paper stripes, i used GAME ON attitude pattern paper.

the rest of the embellishments – banners, quotes – are from the sticker sheets – aussie rules and soccer sticker sheets.

to finish off my design i added black lace and black rhinestones and some more of the coloured rub-ons from the TECHNOLOGIC collection.

i hope you enjoyed today’s post!

have a lovely week!

hello HEARTFELT CREATIONS friends!

and WELCOME to the HEARTFELT CREATIONS alumni designers AUGUST blog hop!

i decided to go purple this months and here is what i've prepared for you:

i stamped the HCPC 3323 large elegant word background with versamark ink on green cardstock and heat emboss the set using SNS gold detail embossing powder [EP168]. after the embossing powder has cooled down, i ruffled the edges of the cardstock using TIM HOLTZ distressing tool and adhered it to the card base with mounting foam tape.

to create the oval layers for my card i used SPELLBINDERS floral ovals die and nestabilities ovals small die. i heat embossed the inner part of the second layer using HCPC 3323 large elegant word background stamp and SNS gold detail embossing powder [EP168]

for the sentiment banner i used HCPC3321 believe precut set with golden embossing powder.

to create the cardinal bird i used one of HEARTFELT CREATIONS vintage precut stamp set - HCPC3353 cardinla family. i stamped the image on creme coloured cardstock using RANGER brown archival ink and coloured it with PANPASTELS.

i created the branch, using HCPC3490 holiday mail precut set. i stamped the image on green cardstock and fussy cut the small details.

succeed! {MERLY IMPRESIONS & KAISERCRAFT}

hello crafty peeps!

i've got a new project to share with you today! to create my layout i used KAISERCRAFT game on! collection and it is all about little THEO learning how to jump in the water.

this summer we went to FRANCE and SPAIN for our summer holiday and in the beginning THEO would just sit by the pool, playing nicely with his water bucket, but he would refuse to go into the water. well, long story short, at the end of our vacation he was not only playing in the pool, but he even dared to jump in the water! and we stayed only about 10 days there. you can only imagine how PROUD we were of our little boy!

"SUCCEED!"
i started with KAISERCARD coconut weave cardstock, which i altered using TIM HOLTZ bubble layering stencil and TIM HOLTZ mini distress ink pads – scattered straw.

then i added the blue pattern with KAISERCRAFT diamonds clear stamp and TIM HOLTZ mini distress ink pads – salty ocean.

after the ink has dried i punched the edge pattern and layered the altered cardstock on the GAME ON! winner patter paper. before i attached the two layers, i covered the reddish pattern with RANGER multi-medium gesso.

for the layeres under my pictures i used GAME ON! team mate pattern paper and GAME ON! winner patter paper. i ruffled their edges with TIM HOLTZ paper distresser. the paper die cuts and embellishments are from the COLLECTABLES packages matching this collection – equipment and awards

to create the flap for the picture in the middle i used GAME ON! athlete pattern paper - the only one featuring swimming motives. but as you can see, you can create a jump-in-the-pool layout using baseball papers or even basketball ones.

i've added a hidden jouranlling spot to record THEO's achievement without spoiling my design.

to embellish my layout i used paper die cuts, KAISERCRAFT mini paper blooms coconut, paper blooms sage and black rhinestones.
and a few of the stickers matching my swimming theme – swimming sticker sheet

i hope you enjoyed today’s post!

have a wonderful week!
