SPARKLE 'n SPRINKLE october release party

hello crafty friends!

WELCOME to SPARKLE 'N SPRINKLE's october 1st release!

today, we got 2 chances for you to win some AMAZINGLY cute stamp sets and glitter / embossing powder colours - with our "snow one like you" RELEASE CONTEST and with the SNS monthly challenge! 

as you discovered last month, SPARKLE 'N SPRINKLE has changed things up a bit. at the beginning of each month, one or two new affordably-priced sets will be featured on our FACEBOOK page, SNS' blog, Jazzy Jill's Technique Video for the month, designers' blogs, and our SNS creative challenges blog, where the monthly theme is always "ANYTHING GOES with glitter, embossing powder and/or flocking". each month there will be three winners, which will receive a winner's badge and an AWESOME glittery / powdery prize!

here is what i did with the ADORABLE "snow one like you" stamp set from the october release:

i started with white cardstock, SNS gold detail embossing powder and SNS "christmas greetings" stamp set. i used the delicate swirl to create the golden frame around my design.

SPARKLE 'N SPRINKLE is releasing a darling little "snow one like you" set created by artist BECCY MUIR with the prettiest, daintiest little snowflakes.

at the same time we are releasing a pretty new FLOURISHES ONE stamp set, by artist ROSILAND SOLOMON.

JAZZY JILL is also releasing the new OCTOBER technique video kit, which uses this sweet new set.

an early valentine card

hello crafty friend!

it's almost VALENTINE's day and at PAPERHAUS magazine we thought of giving you some more ideas to help your creativity floating when creating hand made gifts for loved ones!

here is my card -

to create this card i used two different TILDA collections - SEWING BIRD and WINTER MEMORIES, pearls, glitter and a lot of LOVE of course!

christmas is here {DT work for FWAB}

 hello lovelies!

today's post is about a layout a made last month for the challenge at FWAB {YES! indeed... there is a monthly challenge going on at FWAB with awesome prizes to be won!}

"christmas is here"

i used TILDA's "winter play" and "winter memories" paper line.

i begun with a white cardstock, the crafter's workshop "chicken wire reversed" mask and a selection of PANPASTELS. after i was satisfied with the result, i stamped a few whimsical images with inkadinkado clear stamps.

for the title i used a sticker from TILDA. i glued it on a cardstock and add to to my page with 3d adhesive tape.

the lovely pink pearly swirl is from flourish with a bling "grace pearl flourish pink". 

i colored the PRIMA resin bird embellishment with a mixture of gesso with pink glimmer glam. added a little bit of glitter powder to extra glimmer and glam!

i used different cut outs to embellish my page.

for the punched frame i used MARTHA STEWART edge punches "stars" and "double scallop"

12 days of CHRISTMAS at PAPERHAUS - day 7

good morning lovelies! 

it's a day 7 of PAPERHAUS christmas giveaway and we've got pretty amazing prize for you!

but first - my wintery project for today - 

"winter wonderland" mini-album, part 2

i used the following products used: 

Tilda “winter memories” and “winter play” paper pad 

RANGER “coffee” archival ink pad 

RANGER stickles “star dust” and “christmas red” glitter glue 

gesso 

PRIMA marketing resin embellishments 

BASICGREY white rub ons 

 these are some extra pages for the mini-album i started in my previous post. i used the same set of pictures and papers. 

i began by covering the edges of the cardstock sheets with gesso. after it dried I stamped the text with brown ink and distressed the edges with the same color. i covered the cardstock sheets with pattern paper from TILDA’s winter memories collection. 

for the first page i used different die cuts from the paper pad. i embossed them, embellished them with glitter and layered them with 3d tape.

 i wrote the title by hand and repeated it with a red distress markers. 

for the second page i used pattern paper and a large white rub on to create the background. i cut out my picture to fit it better in my design.

i then again wrote the title by hand and repeated it with a red / blue distress markers and fussy cut different elements from the patter paper to use as embellishments.

12 days of CHRISTMAS at PAPERHAUS - day 3

hello scrappy friends!

are you all ready for day 3 of the PAPERHAUS "12 DAYS of CHRISTMAS" party?

today i want to share my latest wintery layout with you - 

"christmas elf"  

i've created this layout for the DECEMBER sketch challenge at PAPERHAUS.

this month the sketch was designed by the very talented julianne

i used the amazing TILDA winter collections - "winter memories" and "christmas play".

for the background i used the crafter's workshop "harlequin" 12 x 12" template, modeling paste and TIM HOLTZ' distress ink pads. 

the lovely rhinestones swirls are from flourish with a bling "kate's corner flourish silver" and the banner stamp is from MY MIND's EYE.

now for the 3rd day of the "12 DAYS of CHRISTMAS" event! today's prize is sponsored by "eclectic paperie" - an eKIT complete with project sheet and supplies!

kaboodle doodles challenge #147

hello crafty friends! 

its monday and it is time for another challenge at KABOODLE DOODLES! 

this week the theme is "STRIPES and / or POLKA DOTS"! 

and here is a little bit of inspiration from me:

 i used two different TILDA lines to create this card - "christmas play" and "christmas house".

i added extra layers on the flowers to achieve 3d effect and some STICKLES glitter glue.

for the snowflakes i used MARIANNE DESIGN cutting die and TILDA papers.

the blue pearls are from FWAB adhesive pearls 100 pack teal colour.

winter wonderland mini album {DT work for PaperHaus}

hello scrappy friends!

i've got something very different to share with you today. 

usually i'm not a big fan of mini-albums, but with the holidays closing in and a very very sentimental grandma, i thought a mini album with all grand children will be the perfect gift for my mother!

so, here it is - my very first mini album - 

"winter wonderland"

products used:

i began by covering the edges of the cardstock sheets with gesso. after it dried i stamped the text with brown ink and distressed the edges with the same color.

for the back cover i used darker patter paper and the crafter's workshop mask with modeling paste.

for the inner page i used a picture of the three cousins {my THEO and ELISE and WILLY - my sister's}.

i covered the PRIMA resins with a mixture of gesso with glimmer glam. after the first layer was dry i applied a coat of glimmer glam only to match the paper collection palette.

i added white puff paint to the branches to make them look like they are covered with snow.

i've only 3 pages done so far. but there is still plenty of time... i keep telling myself:-)
