hello scrappy friends!
it's an anything goes day at PAPERHAUS magazine blog and i've decided to warm up the cold winter days with a summer layout -
beach bum
while half the world is shivering in cold, the rest of the world is experiencing glorious summer days, so it is never too soon or late to scrap your summer memories and remember the long fun days of summer.
for this layout i used the amazing "follow your heart" collection from MY MIND'S EYE, white cardstock and a lot of stamps, masks, pastels and ink.
i used the crafter's workshop "chicken wire" 12 x 12" template with PANPASTELS to create the image on my background. the banner-like frame is created with various MME clear stamps.
i wrote the title with fabric "thickers" alphabet. i colored the letters with “vintage photo” distress ink. for the banner i used paper left-overs - banners and doilies look so perfect with this paper line!
i used masking tape and rhinestones as decoration elements.
the banner on the picture below i cut from the detail strip of the pattern paper. i added 3d adhesive tape under it and attached it to my page. the doily heart is made with MARTHA STEWART deep border punch.
as a finishing touch i decided to write the picture titles by hand.
i hope you enjoyed today's post!
here is a detailed list with the products i used in this project:
have a fabulous day tomorrow!
hugs 'n smiles,
Emmy
