reach for the stars {the paperhaus magazine}

hello scrappy friends!

few days ago it was my turn to inspire you at the PAPERHAUS magazine blog and i've decided to create a layout about the different techniques we use when crafting - stamping, masking, inking, fussy cutting, creating your own background paper, die cutting, embossing, painting - i've got them all on a single page -

"REACH FOR THE STARS"

as you can see i started with white cardstock. then i did some masking {THE CRAFTER'S WORKSHOP "mini bricks" template with TIM HOLTZ' distress ink pad "tea dye"}, stamping {making memories "travel" clear stamp set, we r memory keepers "up up and away" and andy skinner "flight of fancy" clear stamp set}, inking {the green splashes - TIM HOLTZ' "shabby shutters" ink pad} to create the design i needed for my picture.

i used SEI "en route" collection to create this page. i did a lot of fussy cutting and die cutting.

for the green border i used SIZZIX TIM HOLTZ' "harlquin border" die. i coloured it with distress and doodled the red rhombuses with FABER-CASTELL pitt aritis pen red.

for my title i used one of the new PRIMA marketing cling stamps from the wishes and dream collection.

to give a more prominent look to my quote i used RANGER "silver" embossing powder, instead of ink.

i fussy cut the picture, the airplane and the clouds – they all go so well together.

i hope i managed to inspire you!

and don't forget to check the PAPERHAUS blog for more amazing projects!

hugs 'n smiles,
Emmy
