hello sparkly friends!
it is my turn on the SPARKLE N SPRINKLE blog today and here is what i've prepared to share with you -
"EVERYDAY BOY"
lately i really like to build my layouts on a white background. like this i can design my own pattern with the colors of my choice.
on this project i used TIM HOLTZ' layering stencil "clockwork" and “broken china” distress ink pad. after the ink was dry, i added another layer in the corners with a brick masking template and TIM HOLTZ “tea dye” distress ink pad.
i splashed some green GLIMMER MIST on top of it and stamped the kite using VERSAMARK watermark pad and SNS moss star embossing powder [EP430].
for the kites i used SNS kite stamp. it can be special ordered by using requesting item number 3390-425C.
for the title i used MAYA ROAD cardstock words, which i altered with a layer of SNS mediterranean star embossing powder [EP429] and a second lighter layer with SNS poolside embossing powder [EP393]. i rubbed off the edges of the words, after applying the second layer of embossing powder, to achieve a vintage distress look.
to embellish my layout I used different chipboard shapes from CREATIVE EMBELLISHMENTS - mini gears set, gear 1" set and gears 1 1/2" set. i used versamark ink pad with different embossing powders – moss star [EP430], mediterranean star [EP429], poolside [EP393] and copper dreams [EP268].
the mantle steampunk gear timepiece chippie is also from CREATIVE EMBELLISHMENTS. and paper gear die cuts are made with SPELLBINDERS sprightly sprockets die.
the pattern paper i used on this project is from SEI "en route" collection.
here is a list with all the products you can find in the SNS online store:
have a lovely weekend!
hugs 'n smiles,
