MIXED MEDIA steampunk card {creative embellishments}

hello everybody!

i've got a brand new card leaded with STEAMPUNK chippies {available at CREATIVE EMBELLISHMENTS'online store} to share with you today. 

"HELLO"

to create my card i used a lot of chippies {of course}, GELATOS, embossing powder, stamps, ink, silver journalling pen, embossing folder and a cutting die. 

 i used 10x15cm white card and a layer of shimmering charcoal cardstock as a card base. then i took another piece of white cardstock and i colored it with two different shades of blue GELATOS. i blend them together using water. when the GELATOS have dried, i doodled the silver frame around the edge and finished my design by stamping a pattern with CIRCLES stamp and DISTRESSED CHICKEN WIRE stamp from CREATIVE EMBELLISHMENTS.

to altered my chippies i used black and silver embossing powders. then i began assembling my design. i added embossed silver cardstock behind the window frame {ARCHED WINDOW set of 3 chipboard set}.

 then i created the gear cluster using chipboard (GEARS 1″ and GEARS 1 1/2″) and die cuts.
