it is my turn today at the SA CRAFTERS' blog and i've prepared a mixed-media tag and a detailed video tutorial to share with you -
"YOU ARE FABULOUS"
the wooden doll and the wings are also from SA CRAFTERS - nadia doll and lily ornaments. i coloured the wings using gesso and pink distress ink and STICKLES glitter glue. for the doll i used COPIC CIAO markers.
the glittery golden-pink and white butterflies are from KAISERCRAFT "all that glitters" collection - paper pad and collectables pack.

i created this tag as a gift to my god daughter. she is FABULOUS and growing more perfect with every single day!
for my base i used SA CRAFTERS wood tags #2 for mini album cover set. i covered the solid part with FABER-CASTELL gesso and TIM HOLTZ "spun sugar" and "worn lipstick". when the ink has dried, i added the pattern using SA CRAFTERS "fancy flower" stencil and TIM HOLTZ "fired brick" ink pad. and a second layer with "triangle" stencil and pink paint.
to finish off my background design i stamped the brown pattern using KAISERCRAFT "diamonds" and "lattice" clear stamps. the golden edge i created with VIVA DECOR inka gold - gold.
