some roads... {DT work for heartfelt creations}

hello scrappy friends!

it's HEARTFELT CREATIONS wednesday again and i've got a new project with the AMAZING newly released FLORAL CROSS collection.

"some roads are meant to be travelled alone"

heartfelt creations products used on this project:

for the background - i used the “cherish” punch around the page set from MARTHA STEWART and the EK SUCCESS "abstract flower" border punch to shape the different layers. i sprayed the white cardstock layer with HULA HOOP glimmer mist, stamp the small flourish from  HC butterfly and lilies set along the edge and stitched the white cardstock to the other two layers.

i shaped the orange pattern paper with MS “cherish” punch set and embossed two large timepieces with couture creations "TIMEPIECE" embossing folder. using HC large elegant word background set i created pattern on the paper.

using the HC layered scalloped posy Die i cut an arch from the orange pattern paper. then using the HC decorative chateau gate die i cut a lot of small vines from green and white cardstock and arranged them around my picture as an arch. added a few of the smallest lilies from HC pristine lilies set to finish off the green arch.

i stamped the scroll with candles from HC twining clematis set, cut the candles out and coloured the leaves with green COPIC CIAO marker. i stamped a second image with orange ink, cut out the lilies and added them to the original image with 3d adhesive tape.

i cut the title stripe from the pattern paper and shaped the edges with FISKARS apron lace boder punch. i added a different coloured layer with the same edge under the title stripe.

i stamped different sizes pristine lilies with brown and orange ink, die cut them with the coordinating HC cross and lilies die. embossed and shaped the petals, added a pearl to the middle and place them on my layout.

have a lovely day!

my sweet little pink fairy

hello scrappy friends!

today i've got a brand new layout to share with you:

i've based my layout on MCS JANUARY sketch:

and on the color challenge #217 from COLOR COMBOS GALORE

i made this layout for my daughter ELISE. she is not as little as on the pictures anymore, but to me she will always be my sweet little pink fairy.

i used mainly PRIMA products and MARIANNE DESIGN dies.

the paperҁ are from the FABULOUS shabby chic collection. i did a lot of fussy cutting, stitching, stamping and colouring... again:-) i used PRIMA resist canvas "romantique", PINK BUBBLEGUM glimmer mist and rhinestones to create the big pinkish butterfly. the bird cage is from marianne design die.

the brown branch is also made with resist canvas and COFFEE SHOP glimmer mist, the heart comes from marinanne design and the cute little key hole and key are from DUSTY ATTIC. i added a layer of gesso and a layer of TATTERED ROSE distress ink to give them a colour fit for my design.

i stamped the fence with PRIMA stamp and colorbox brown ink pad, and cute out the white spots by hand. i added a hunt of pink ink to
the white PETALOO flowers and arranged the small roses around the fence.

the decorative frame on top of my picture is cut with HC decorative chateau gate die. to create a fairy effect, i added rhinestones.

i finished my design by adding a big pink bow:

i hope you enjoyed today's post! see you tomorrow for HEARTFELT CREATIONS wednesday!

the smallest things {DT work for SC}

hello lovely friends!

this is my second post for today, but this one is all about SCRAPBOOK CHALLENGES!

as you know every week there is a new sketch to play with - this week it was sketch # 282:

and here is what i came up with:

i flipped the sketch and used a journalling spot instead of second photo. i couldn't resist this WONDERFUL quote - it was printed for my picture:-)

i used the AMAZING "baby steps" paper line from simple stories and a lot of different dies and stamps from MARIANNE DESIGN.

the cute banner is made with the matching cardstock stickers and spellbinders nested lacey pennants die. the branch is cut out from marinanne design's bird on branch die {LR0137}. the flowers and the leaves are from PRIMA marketing.

for the tile i used another sticker, which i glued to yellow shimmering cardstock. the little roses are from marinane deisng and prima.

for the big flower i used PRIMA blossom and the snowflake die {LR0185} from marianne design. i stamped the background with some more adorable snowflakes from the "let is snow" stamp set and colorbox brown ink pad.

when i saw the note sheet border i knew exactly which die to use to embellish it- the music key {LR0167}.

i used liquid pearls, punched border {EK SUCCESS abstract flower border punch} and of course i stitched a lot... again:-)

to create dimension on my layout, i added few punched layers under the quote cut out.

and the last picture is from my "smallest thing" - not so small anymore, but still extremely cute!

i hope you enjoyed my post! if you need more inspiration, come and check what the rest of the team created HERE.

i hope to see your creations in our gallery!

elise's 1st easter {DT work for HC}

hello scrappy friends!

it's wednesday again and i've got another HEARTFELT CREATIONS project to share with you.

this week we've got a special treat for you - heartfelt creations is pleased to release the floral cross collection. this collection is as fresh as a blooming yellow lily on a sunny spring day: intricate flowers compliment the typographical, linear, and wooden crosses. there are 6 new precut stamp sets and one beautiful new exclusive spellbinders die designed for heartfelt creations.

leave a comment on the HC blog by february 14 to be eligible to win the entire release valued at $125.93. the winner will be announced on february 15 on the HC Blog.

heartfelt creations products ssed on this layout:

using the “Cherish” punch set from martha stewart i shaped the green cardstock and adhere it to the yellow one. i stamped the flowery corners with HC twining clematis set and colorbox brown ink pad– i used the large flourish for the top right corner and the small one – for the other three. i coloured the leaves with a green copic ciao marker. i stamped the large flourish again on a purple and pink paper, cut out the flowers {both layers with different size}, outlined them with white gel pen. after they were dry i adhered them to the first layer flourish.

i drew the two big eggs on different colour pattern paper, added shimmer cardstock under them, aged their edges with gesso and adhered them on the green background.

i stamp different sizes malabar clematis blossoms on yellow and pink shimmer cardstock and then cut them out using the coordinating HC cross and lilies die. i outlined the petals with white gel pen, separated and embossed them, and finally i shaped them by curling the petals down.

 to complete the flower spread i cut two leafy swirls from dark brown cardstock with HC belle rose die, cut the leaves out and position the swirls under my pictures. i stamped two types of foliage on a green cardstock, embossed the leaves and adhered them around the swirls. i arranged the malabar clematis blossoms on top of the swirls and assemble everything as pictured. to finish off i added different colour brads into the flower centers.

i used a small wooden rabbit, which i painted pink, to embellish my layout:

i used the HC cross and lilies die to cut out a small butterfly from shimmering cardstock...

and the cross:

i hope you enjoyed our new release! come back next wednesday for more projects featuring these amazing stamps!

today i want to share a layout i made for a dear friend of mine. i used a picture of her little girls - i really LOVE the way these little angels pose for the camera!

almost everything on this layout is from PRIMA MARKETING and MARIANNE DESIGN.

i started with white background, tattered angels "butterfly" glimmer screen and pink bubblegum glimmer mist. i stitched the zig zag frame with pink tread.

i used the "sparkling spring" paper line and the matching ESSENTIALS flowers. i added few white mini roses from MARIANNE DESIGN and sculpture flowers from PRIMA.

i used marianne design's bird cage {LR0146}, heart with birds {LR0186} and branch {LR0151} dies.

dream BIG {DT work for heartfelt creations}

hello scrappy friends!

it's wednesday again and i have a brand new HEARTFELT CREATIONS project for you.

this week i had the pleasure to work with a lovely picture of Emma Lou and Richard and here is what i came up with:

i used the following heartfelt creations products on this layout:

i started by placing the balloon mask from PRIMA MARKETING and sprayed the cardstock with "FROST" glimmer mist.

using the large flourish from HC feather grass flourish precut set and colorbox brown ink i created the frame along the rim, pierced the zig-zag pattern with sew easy and stitched it with green tread.

i cut a 10.5 x 15.5 cm rectangle from white cardstock and another one – 11 x 16 cm from brown cardstock; glued them together and adhered the picture on top of the white cardstock. using HC perfect petals die i cut three decorative corners and stuck them under my photo, leaving the top left corner free. i cut two stripes with the decorative border from HC decorative butterfly border Die and added them under the picture too.

the two big flourishes with leaves are made with HC belle rose die and white pen. i stamped various flowers from HC daisy patch flowers set, HC posy patch flowers set
and HC botanical floral 2 set on different pattern papers from K & Company 12”x 12” paper pad “Girl Scouts”; cut them with my CUTTLEBUG and the matching HC cutting dies; embossed the individual petals and shaped them by hand. i added a button to the middle and stitched the different layers together. i embellished the flourishes with rhinestones and buttons.

for the title – i used brown cardstock alphabet stickers. i cut two different colours butterflies using the HC decorative butterfly border die, stitched them together; added some glitter glue and rhinestones.

i hope you enjoyed my post. i'll be back next wednesday with more HC projects!

have a wonderful week!

hugs 'n smiles,
Emmy
