mme blog challenge 25: celebrate YOU

happy monday, bloggers!

another month, another AMAZING sketch from mme to play with:

and this is my interpretation:

i just can't get enough of those ADORABLE "lil' robotos" papers! they are so CUTE and PERFECT for THEO:-)

i did a lot of fussy cutting and doodling on this layout, but i kept it "clean and simple" - it's a boy page after all:-)

here are some close ups:

i hope you enjoyed my creation!

thanks for stopping by!

prima BAP july 2011 {jungle SWING}

hello bloggers!

my post today is all about PRIMA:-) i finished my layout for the prima july BAP sketch competition:

and here is what i came up with {after i flipped, turned and played with the sketch}:

for this project i used the following AMAZING prima marketing products:
so cute! paper collection - "SO CUTE"
so cute! paper collection - "GROWING"
so cute! paper collection - "THE GREAT OUTDOORS"
so cute! paper collection - "NOTEWORTHY"
so cute! clear stamps
alphabet stickers - blue
rose leaves #540463
whisper collection reflections #548605
e-line flowers aqua #300395
sculpture flowers #920999
masks "leaves and vine"
ribbon "leaf spray"

on the pictures - SWEET little baby THEO swinging in the park:-)

i started with white card-stock, PRIMA mask and brown distress Ink pad. as usual i did a lot of fussy cutting, punching, stitching, etc., but the papers asked for it;-) just look at this cute birdie:-) and this ribbon definitely needed more leaves!

the best thing about PRIMA flowers is that you can combine different collections, even different years is not a problem. paper or fabric or even sculptured flowers - you can mix and match them as much as you want -  they always look PERFECT together!  to finish my bouquet, i added dusty attic "ferns" chippies...

... and some cute snails and frogs...

the little stamped birds are from the "so cute! clear stamps" set:

i attached the swing with making memories butterfly brads:

some more close ups:

i even used PRIMA packaging to embellish my pictures:-)

i hope you enjoyed looking at my project as much as i enjoyed making it:-)

thank you for taking the time to visit my blog! i really appreciate every single comment!

hello bloggers,

i'm trilled to announce that i've been invited to join the FABULOUS design team at scrapbook challenges! this is such a great opportunity for me and i'm so HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!

the first challenge i'm hosting there is based on sketch 12 from our SIZZLING SUMMER of SKETCHES competition.

the sketch is made by our very CREATIVE chanell rigterink and it is for a multiple picture layout.

here is what I came up with:

on the pictures - PRETTY little princess ELISE in disneyland. instead of three pictures, i used two pictures and a castle:-) as usual, i did a lot of fussy cutting, hand-stitching, misting and inking on this layout.

if you like sketches and you are up to challenge, just log in and join the FUN. We have some AMAZING prizes this month!

hope to see you there!

fancy little chick

hello bloggers,

when I saw the AMAZING colour palette at color combos galore this week i could not resist!

the moment i saw these colours i knew exactly which paper line i will use - basic grey "URBAN PRAIRIE"! it's the perfect collection for this palette!

so, here is my "FANCY LITTLE CHICK" layout:

on the pictures - my little elise, being ADORABLE in the park! she was about 1 year old, but she already knew that she wants to wear only skirts and dresses...:-)

with this layout i'm also participating in the july edge punch challenge hosted at my creative scrapbook. make sure to check it out - there is still enough time to apply!

as i mentioned above, i used basic grey's "URBAN PRAIRIE" collection - papers and chipboard. i started with the off white sheet, which i sprayed with glimmer mist "BUBBLE GUM". i also stamped some pink swirls on it.

the yellow rose and the yellow sculpture flower are from PRIMA marketing. the white one is from PETALOO. i sprayed it with perfect pearls to create the off-white colour.

i used ranger liquid pearls - PINK and WHITE, to embellish the stamped swirls. the pink chick comes from the  matching chipboard elements pack.

i used the WONDERFUL martha stewart edge punch "pansy"to create the flowery edge.

the yellow flower is from PRIMA marketing, as is the little yellow rose.

some more chipboard elements and hand-made butterflies:-)

and my title. for the word "FANCY" I used basic grey alphabet from another collection. it was light blue, but thanks to my FAVOURITE copic ciao i managed to get the colour i needed!:-) i used the chippy birdie for the word "CHICK". the pink alpha i have from a long time ago, but i really have no idea anymore from where/whom i've got it.

thanks for stopping by! i do appreciate every visit and comment!:-)

hugs 'n smiles,
Emmy
