hello scrappy friends!
today i would like to share a project i created with the amazing SPARKLE N SPRINKLE glitters and embossing powders -
"BY THE SEA"
i used a vintage K & COMPANY collection to create my page.
to alter my background i distressed the edges of the cardstock and the pattern paper, and added extra structure using dimensional paste and THE CRAFTER'S WORKSHOP masking template.
i added gesso in the middle of my page to soften the colors. when it was dry, i stamped the large swirls from stamp sets #516 flourishes 1 and #520 flourishes 2 with versamark ink pad. then i sprinkled fiery brown embossing powder [EP369] and heat embossed the stamped images.
to create my embellishments i die cut various beach themed shapes using CUTTLEBUG dies, white cardstock and SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES adhesive sheets. after my die cuts where ready, i just peeled back the second protective sheet to reveal the adhesive surface and sprinkled different colors glitters and embossing powders on them.
for the seahorses i used the green nugget glitter [G1065] and the sea spray glitter [1023] - amazing colors for any sea themed project!
for the framed shells I used the hit the beach embossing powder [EP394] for the frame and the sunset glitter [G1040]...
... and the copper dreams embossing powder [EP268] for the center.
i created the frame around my third picture using a SPELLBINDERS die, cardstock and adhesive sheets. after i peeled off the second protective sheet, i sprinkled bridal glitter [G1029] to make it sparkle.
to finish off my project i added paper strips, buttons and pearls.
here is a list with all the products you can find in the SPARKLE N SPRINKLE store:
thanks so much for stopping by today!
have a lovely weekend!

How gorgeous and sweet, Emmy! hugs, de
I really like this layout. also getting to your site and seeing all the supplies you used. I guess I'm not too observant, before I just looked at the daily/weekly SNS pix and went on. Glad I clicked on your name.
Cute pictures! I love the layout and wonderful elements.
