LEGO minotaurus game (3841)

hello bloggers!

we (me, hubby and Elise) love Lego and we play board games regularly. so naturally, when our box with MINOTAURUS came in, we had no other option but to try it out... immediately!:-)

the first thing that caught our attention was the buildable LEGO dice and changeable rules! you have to put the game together and then you can play it, which is absolutely brilliant and loads of fun.

the goal is to get your LEGO hero to the center of the board first. but there are hedges and walls making a maze that you have to wade through. you roll the die and go that amount of spaces. if the die lands on black, then you can move the minotaur 8 spaces, hopefully taking out one of your opponents and sending him back to start. if the die lands on grey, then you move a grey wall brick - you can block your opponents' path, or keep the minotaur from reaching you, etc.

the basic game has you win when you have one hero reach the center, but it's actually way more fun when you require all three heros to be there. then you have time to really mess up people's pathways and get the minotaur action going. there is also a variation with the addition of a green die option, which enables your hero to jump over a hedge.

the game is fantastic and we had great time playing it! it is "must-have" from the new LEGO sets.

if you want to find out about another FABULOUS game from LEGO, read my latest post about SHAVE THE SHEEP.

little miss SANTA

hello scrappy friends!

i know it is AUGUST and the sun is shinning, and it is 40C outside, but i couldn't resist when i found these pictures from my daughter ELISE first christmas party:-)

she looks so adorable in her reindeer pj's, that i just had the urge to cut some christmasy papers and goods:-)

here is the final result:

i used plain blue cardstock for the background. i've inked the edges with TIM HOLTZ' tea dye distress ink pad and used a lot of different stamps and glitter.

the pattern paper comes from few old MY MIND EYE collections - "the mary days of christmas" and "frost signature christmas".

some close ups:

i hope you like it!

have a scrappy week!

little precious

hello lovely friends!

i've decided to make one last post before my vacation:-)

this layout i made for my baby boy - THEO. i wanted to use only blue and green, but other colours have sneaked in as well:-)

i made the die cut paper myself - i punched the holes and cut the lace like edge. then I stitched the white square to create the spot for my pictures.

all the flowers are with glitter and ink.

the best part is that the little foot and hand prints are actually THEO's - from when he was just 1 month old.

thanks for stopping by!

have a lovely summer!

a lucky lucky week!!!

hello lovely friends:-)

it's been a lucky week for me! i won many unexpected prises and i'm very very veeery happy!!!

1. 1he first prise i won was a free day at the spa from karaci tours - the company we went to ISTANBUL with. we spent 3 amazing days in this marvelous city, but it was definitely not enough. there is so much to do and so many things to see. the history of the world in one city!! pictures are following shortly:-)

at the end of the trip there was a lottery. the guide asked my little ELISE to help announce the winners and she drew my name:-) so, I'm going to get spoiled and have a wonderful day at the spa!

2. my second prise came from dvete elshi - my favourite bulgarian scrapbook store! i got the wonderful laurence llewelyn - bowen DVD - "crafting at home with" from their monthly lottery. may be because i'm a very loyal customer;-)

thank you rali and em!! i really enjoyed watching it!!

3. my third and final prise this week came from LEGO - no need for introduction here:-) we were chosen (me and my family) to be a part of the test group for the new LEGO minotaurus board game!!!  WOW!!! my daughter and hubby can't wait to get their hands on the box:-)

well, that was all for this week:-) i'm off to antalya, turkey for a 5* holiday next week, but I'll keep you posted;-)

this is my first layout of me and my ROBERT:-) i was so busy with my kids, that i hardly noticed our pictures... but this one is one of my personal favourites. it was taken on our 1st wedding anniversary party (already 7 years ago:-).

for this project i used BO BUNNY persuasion collection, some PRIMA marketing flower leaves and of course MARTHA STEWARD big heart punch. i did stitching, stamping, glittering and every other possible thing to make this page look special and full with love (as we are:-)!

i used two little birdies for my flower centers:

i added glitter to MS hearts - they look so lovely:
