sweet & gorjuss {die-versions}

hello crafty friends!

it is my turn at the DIE-VERSIONS' blog today and i've got a brand new card to share.

i created a card to give a special little birthday girl - she loves cats and she looks exactly like a GORJUSS girl.

i die cut the heart from a red glittery cardstock and separated the word SWEET from the heart shape. i used GORJUSS themed papers - really LOVE the cute little girls - to create my card.

as you can see above i used the heart-shape as an embellishment and the word as a title for my card.

have a lovely december holidays!

believe in miracles {SPARKLE N SPRINKLE}

hello scrappy friends!

it's my turn over at SPARKLE N SPRINKLE blog and i've got a brand new wintery layout to share with you -

"BELIEVE in MIRACLES"

for my background i used white cardstock, PRIMA markering masking template and a peach colour ink pad. after the ink has dried i used the following stamp sets from SPARKLE N SPRINKLE to embellish my background further:  #515 snow one like you#516 flourishes 1 and #520 flourishes 2. i stamped the images with versamark water stamp ink pad and embossed them with silver detail embossing powder [EP257].

  to create the embellishments: i stamped the christmas ornaments on a white cardstock - i used the #418 nesties ornaments #418 Stamp Set with versamark water stamp ink pad, i applied quick silver embossing powder [EP375] and heated the images. after they cooled down, i fussy cut the ornaments and placed them on my layout.

  i fussy cut the pink snowflake medallions from pattern paper - i used WEBSTER'S PAGES "sweet season" collection, altered them with sakura glue pen and orchid rose velvet glitter [GM2016].

  for my snowflakes i used various cutting dies from MARIANNE design and SPELLBINDERS, 3/4" double sided tear-ific tape, cardstock and diamond dust glitter [G1116].

  to finish off my page i added rhinestones and splashes of paint.

here is a list with all the products you can find at SNS shop:

at the beach {susan k. weckesser inc}

hello crafty friends!

today my post is all about SUSAN K. WECKESSER INC.

i know it is winter and cold, and CHRISTMAS is just a few days away, but i just printed over a 1000 beach sunny pictures from our summer holidays and i couldn't resist creating a beach layout.

"AT THE BEACH"

on these pictures, we were at the beach in GREECE and the sand was so warm, that little THEO decided that crawling is a much better options than walking. i wanted to name my layout originally "THE SAND CRAWLER", but the title was too long and it wouldn't fit into my design.

for my background i used SUSAN K. WECKESSER whimsical paper "live love create" and white cardstock. i altered the cardstock using a PRIMA MARKETING masking template and TIM HOLTZ' distress ink pads.

after i was satisfies with the result, i outlined some of the circles with RANGER INK stickles glitter glue - green and blue colour.

when the glitter glue has dried, i finished my design using SUSAN K. WECKESSER and UNITY STAMPS "abc.123.washi" stamp set

to layer my picture i used a stripe of SUSAN K. WECKESSER whimsical paper "live in color". i stamped the alphabet washi image and distressed it edges. for the arrows i used a SIZZIX die.

the cute colorful circles i fussy cut from SUSAN K. WECKESSER whimsical paper "color burst". i added die cut cameras and brown pearls.

for the title i used a DIE-VERSIONS cute cubes die "life is better at the beach".

i hope i managed to inspire you today!

enjoy your week!

a few CHRISTMAS cards {DIE-VERSIONS}

hello crafty friends!

though, for the first time in years i'm done sending my CHRISTMAS cards long before CHRISTMAS, i've decided to create a few more {just in case} with some of the brand new dies from DIE-VERSIONS!

for my first card i used traditional CHRISTMAS dies from DIE-VERSIONS september 2013 release

i used a 13 x 13 cm silver card for my base and then i added a few layers of red and white cardstock. the red loopy border i punched using FISKARS punch. for the cute couple i used die-versions WHISPERS "nutcracker sweet" and "nutcracker sweetie".

to finish off my card i added white ribbon, rhinestones and a tag with CHRISTMAS message.

for my second card i used non-traditional CHRISTMAS dies - i used VALENTINE dies from the december release.

to complete my card i used the SWEET HEARTS "hugs" die...

to finish off my design i added glitter glue to my die cuts.

i hope you enjoyed today's post!

have a lovely day!

i am who i am {MERLY IMPRESSIONS & KAISERCRAFT}

hello scrappy friends!

it is my turn over at MERLY IMPRESSIONS blog today and i would like to share another KAISERCRAFT project with you, featuring their newest TEA TIME collection

"I AM WHO I AM"

the title is inspired from my pictures. as many of you know, my little darling ELISE has the most beautiful curly hair. she looks like a little fairy, but when it comes to brushing - she is not so trilled with her curls. so, once in a while, we bring her to the hair-dresser and threat her with a straight hair.

last time we did it right before a family gathering and all the aunts and uncles were really upset with us - how could we, as parents, allow her to "destroy" her beautiful curly hair. according to them she didn't look like ELISE anymore, hence the title. it took me a lot of time to explain to everyone that it is not permanent and the curls will be back as soon as her hair gets wet, but finally we made peace with the family :-)

i used the KAISERCRAFT december saturday sketch #1 as inspiration for my project:

for this layout i decided to create my own embellishments. i used patterned paper from the TEA TIME collection with fussy cutting, inking, punching, embossing, glittering, etc. basically, you can use all the techniques, you are familiar with, to create the most striking layout with pattern paper only.

i started with KAISERCRAFT white premium cardstock, which i distressed with two different colors ink - brown and salmon. then using the TIM HOLTZ “rays” layering stencil and the KAISERCOLOUR paint candy i created the pattern in the middle of my page.

 i used MARTHA STEWART circle border punch "eyelet doily" and KAISERCRAFT tea break “ginger snaps” paper. i thought that the little flowers from the pattern paper match the pattern on ELISE’s dress perfectly.

for the sentiment i used the colour rub-ons matching the TEA BREAK collection.

then i layered the wide white strip from the choc chip pattern paper, which i cut in two, on top. for my embellishments i used stickers from the same collection - from the alpha sticker sheet and the sticker sheet with images from the same collection. i distressed their edges with brown ink.

to embellish my layout i used die cuts from the 6×6″ paper pad

for my flower spread i used the custard cream pattern paper from the TEA BREAK collection, the 6×6″ paper pad, scissors, double sided mounting tape and an embossing pen.

i layered some of the roses, using different size blossoms, to create a dimensional effect on my page.

to finish off my layout i added pearls (KAISERCRAFT “lush”) and RANGER INK stickles glitter glue.
i hope you enjoyed my post today!
