A MEMORY {merly impressions & kaisercraft}

hello scrappy friends!

the time goes by so quickly these days... it is already autumn and i haven't got a clue what happen to the summer???  i had these BIG plans to organise my pictures, print them promptly and scrap them by the end of the year, but... well, you know :-)

so, i'm skipping my SUMMER photos {for now} and i'm starting with the AUTUMN ones. and here is a layout i created with the amazing CURIOSITY collection by KAISERCRAFT -

"A MEMORY"

for this layout i used 1 black cardstock sheet, 4 pattern papers and a some of the die cuts from the CURIOSITY collectables pack

i created the first layer on the black cardstock using a golden embossing powder and KAISERCRAFT “tic toc” background stamp. then i punched out two strips from the UNIQUE pattern paper and two strips from the black cardstock (i used the cut off stripe from the black cardstock with the KAISERCRAFT logo on one site).

to finish off my design i added small dots with RANGER liquid pearls.

i used some more of the die cuts from the COLLECTABLES pack to embellish off my design. but before i adhered them to my page, i cut off the excessive white border and i embossed them slightly.

to frame the picture i fussy cut the black border from the UNCANNY pattern paper, divided the paper stripe in three pieces and arranged them around my photo.

i based my title on a sentiment from the COLLECTABLES pack ”sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a MEMORY”.

to create the flower garden under my picture i used the QUEER pattern paper – it takes a bit of time, but the effect is stunning! i added STICKLES glitter glue and some ready made die cuts from the COLLECTABLES pack

before i arranged the embellishments on my layout, i embossed them slightly and used mounting foam tape to adhere them in place.

to finish off my design i added black cardstock swirls, which i die cut with various dies from MARIANNE design.

here is a list with some of the products i used on my page:
