i've got something special to share today - a mixed media CHRISTMAS canvas i created using the wonderful stamps, glitters and embossing powders from SPARKLE N SPRINKLE.

to create my canvas i used the “CHRISTIAN angels” #448 stamp set.
i covered a white canvas blue and green PANPASTELS to give colour to my background. after the fixing medium has dried, i added a layer of inked details and modelling paste for extra dimension, using various stencils from THE CRAFTER'S WORKSHOP and PRIMA marketing.
i stamped the feathers with the bird song #496 stamp set and light brown ink. then i stamped the text with the #418 nesties ornaments and the #386 christmas greetings stamp sets.
when the ink has dried i added a generous layer of MUDD PUDDLES “snow” to the bottom of my canvas.
for my angels i used the “CHRISTIAN angels” #448 stamp set – i thought they will look perfect on a wintery/CHRISTMAS mixed media canvas.
i stamped the images on a sheet of embossable clear acetate with VERSAMARK watermark ink pad and embossed them with silver embossing powder [EP179].
for the wings of the angels i used carnation glitter [G1028].
for the snowflakes i used various cutting dies from SPELLBINDERS and MARIANNE DESIGN, white cardstock, 2 1/2″ double sided “tear-ific tape”, bridal glitter [G1029] and sonic silver velvet glitter [GM2002].
i adhered the tape to the cardstock and then i die cut the snowflakes. then i removed the protective layer from the die cuts and sprinkled glitter on top of them.
